Template:Minigame-infobox The Great Deflate is a 2-vs.-2 minigame in Mario Party 4 and Mario Party: The Top 100. Its name comes from the term "The Great Debate".

Introduction

At a beach, an inflatable Thwomp falls onto the ground, and the camera zooms out revealing a second inflatable Thwomp as the teams land on each respective one. In Mario Party: The Top 100, the Thwomps have their modern facial expression instead.

Gameplay

Players must Ground Pound an inflatable, blue Thwomp made of rubber enough to completely deflate it. The higher the jump before the Ground Pound, the more air gets deflated. The first team to completely deflate their Thwomp wins.

Ending

In Mario Party 4, the team that deflated their Thwomp will do their victory poses, while the losing team sulks.
