The 10-Coin of Deep Woods is an official course in Course World in Super Mario Maker 2. It is the third level of Ninji Speedruns, uploaded on January 7, 2020 and running until January 14, 2020. It is set in the forest theme for both the main area and the sub area, in the New Super Mario Bros. U style. The clear condition for this course is to reach the goal after collecting the 10-Coin hidden in this level.

Layout

The level starts out with simply a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom and the pipe which takes Mario to the sub area.

The sub area is vertical, with the 10-Coin located at the very bottom. To the right is a yellow pipe which takes Mario to the goal. As Mario drops down, he first sees Donut Blocks, some coins, and three Piranha Plants on the bottom of three ? Blocks. Next is a red Spike Top near a long vine and a Goombrat near Brick Blocks Mario can Ground Pound to break. Further down is another Goombrat near another vine. Finally, at the bottom is a Goombrat, a ? Block which contains another Super Mushroom, and the 10-Coin.

After collecting the 10-Coin, Mario must make it back to the top of the area. To do this, he can climb vines and Wall Jump in certain places. Once he makes it to the top, he must enter the yellow pipe. Here, there is but one red Spike Top and two small platforms allowing Mario to reach the top of the Goal Pole.

Description

"To clear this course, you must find the 10-Coin that fell deep into the forest! First off, find a path that will quickly drop you straight to the bottom. To climb back up, it might help to figure out where to wall jump!"
