Tips, Secrets, Hints, and Cheats for Mario's games!

Secrets: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GC) North American box art for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

A hard-to-find secret in PM: TTYD is the secret tunnel behind Gloomtail's dungeon. It usually won't be found unless the player has Ms. Mowz in their party. After defeating Gloomtail go to the far right of his dungeon. Ms. Mowz will begin to sniff the air, and by pressing X Ms. Mowz alerts you that treasure is near. Start using Bobbery to blast away the right-side wall. If he blows up in the right spot, a small hole will appear. Mario can walk through the long tunnel finally reaching a small square room. There are two question blocks here... but I'm not telling you what's inside them! If you don't have Ms. Mowz, just blast away several spots of the wall until it opens up. (Note: There is a faint crack visible in the wall!)

Hints: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) Boxart for Super Mario Galaxy.

WARNING!! SPOILERS FOLLOW!!

Now since the game just came out you may or may not know about the "Death Count" in the game. (No, it isn't a deadly vampire either...) First you must complete the "Grand Finale Galaxy" with both Mario and Luigi (Note: This galaxy is unlocked once both Mario and Luigi collect all 120 stars). Once the final star from this stage is collected with both Mario and Luigi, you will be able to see how many times you have died in the game with both Mario and Luigi on your save file. Pretty cool, huh?

SPOILERS END HERE.

Cheats: Super Princess Peach (DS) Super Princess Peach Alternative Box Art.jpg

If you'd like to play an extra Toad minigame, then all you have to do is: At the "Press Start" screen, press R and Start to play the minigame. Hope you like it!

Tips: Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (GC) European Game Cover

"Having trouble beating the COM players? Are they beating you out flat? Then try... USING YOUR HEAD!!!" If you play MKDD every morning like I do, then you know the best weapons to use against your opponents are your surroundings. Take for example: in Mushroom City, there are plenty of useful surroundings to help you get that gold trophy in your hands.

TIP 1: Try using a shell or banana to make the COMs crash into a car, or better yet a Wiggler Train to give you extra getaway time.
TIP 2: User a Bowser's Shell in cramped areas like the main underground intersection to knock out quite a few COMs with one stone.
TIP 3: Use a shell or something to knock your opponent into the open pit by the START/FINISH line.

If you know how to drive, drift, and throw, you should have NO problems with these little tips. If you STILL can't make it, race as Koopa, 'cause you drive about as well as a turtle.
