Hello, all of you readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to the September 2021 edition of the paper! I'm going to keep these notes brief this month, but I have a few announcements for you.
First, in case you missed the announcement on the forum, we've opted not to hold a 'Shroomfest this issue so that we can better focus on some new and different activities and special sections going into the end of this year, between our milestone issue 175 next month and special issue 177 in December. Don't despair, though, the 'Shroomfest will be back in issue 177, and it will be a big one, we promise!
Also coming at a different time than usual is Awards Analysis. The Twelfth Poll Committee has informed us that the yearly huge analysis of the Awards polls will be coming next month, a special section for issue 175, so please look forward to that.
Speaking of issue 175, we're inviting all of you who have contributed to The 'Shroom since issue 162 (in September of 2020) to sign up to be featured in a special activity that we'll have in next month's issue. If you want to appear in some Halloween hijinks and a chance to write a little fun and creative bit about yourself, please, be sure to take a look at the forum thread and send us a sign-up for issue 175's Trick-or-Treating activity on or before October 1st.

Greetings, beautiful 'Shroom readers, and happy September! As it is every year, September is an entirely busy and hectic time for us in the offices, but perhaps by magic, this issue is here and ready for your reading. Don't look at me for an explanation on how - I'm not a Psychic type!
For this issue, you might have noticed an updated look to certain tables. Resident codemaster and actual hero Lakituthequick (talk) has taken it upon himself to update certain codes and give everything a sleek redesign! Everybody make sure to say "Thank you LTQ!"
While I'm here, I would like to remind everyone that this year's special December issue, Issue 177, will be Yoshi themed! Be it the original Yoshi's Island or his handcrafted outings, we want to celebrate everything this green dinosaur companion has to offer. Feel free to perculate on any themed sections or guest sections you'd like to write for the occasion; we'd love to see your participation!
