This ceremony honors users for their contributions to The 'Shroom and wider elements of the community. The Community Dossier is presented as a tool so that readers may cast informed votes for the Community Awards. Please read each section and visit the suggested articles where applicable before placing your vote. You may vote once a week in each poll. The polls close on July 13th and the winners will be announced in this year's Awards Ceremony on August 13th.

BBQ Turtle (talk)	Extremely involved in uploading Mario Kart images and editing the series' pages. In the past year, had led a project to expand coverage of the Mario and Sonic titles. Often fixes links and creates pages for other sports games. Performs quality control edits on a variety of pages.
Doc von Schmeltwick (talk)	Frequent editor who works on many articles & images across the board; typically heavily details changes in edit summaries. Tries to fact-check edits and pieces of information, and contributes to Talk page discussions actively.

Fake News	Started in the first official 'Shroom release by the now-banned user WarioLoaf (talk) on January 6th, 2007, Fake News was the first of the teams to be founded, designed to allow writers to flex their fiction-writing muscles by making up news stories about upcoming Mario game releases or inventing creative stories surrounding the various characters of the Mario universe. Having survived the long test of time, Fake News continues to be a huge draw for the newsletter, currently headed by its thirteenth Director, Doomhiker (talk), and sustained by its writers Yoshi876 (talk) (Obituaries), Quizmelon (talk) (TV Tomorrow), Coffee (Peddler's Place), Waluigi Time (talk) (Mushroom Kingdom Smackdown), MaximumRiley (talk) (Ask Cappy), Doomhiker (talk) (Dear Bowser), Ninja Squid (talk) (The Odyssey of a Squid), Shoey (talk) (Mushroom Tribune and News Flush), Hooded Pitohui (talk) (Mushroom Tribune and News Flush), and Raregold (talk) (The Wrecking Ball with Whomper Thwompite). Fun Stuff	Fun Stuff began in the third issue under the name of Fun Section, founded by the 'Shroom’s director at the time, Plumber (talk), on March 3rd, 2007. Fun Stuff was created to provide interactive games and activities for the community, such as riddles, trivia, or quizzes, eventually growing over time to incorporate visual games such as crosswords and picture matching games. Fun Stuff is currently run by Roserade (talk), and it is supported by its writers BBQ Turtle (talk) (Anagrams), Ninja Squid (talk) (Hiding Koopa), Goombuigi (talk) (Picross), Shoey (talk) (Word Search), Kirbyo (talk) (Trivia), and FunkyK38 (talk) (Where in the Marioverse is Carmen Sandiego?). Palette Swap	Originally under the moniker of Art and Music, and later Music and Artwork, before reaching its current name, Palette Swap was created in the 29th issue by the then-current 'Shroom Director Super Mario Bros. (talk) on August 13th, 2009. Palette Swap’s focus is also on the community’s creativity, but with a focus on multimedia such as music and artworks, both official and fan-made. While it was initially simply a showcase of screenshots and artwork from around the Wiki, the past few years have seen more substance added to the team, with commentary, user-created music and fanart, and occasionally artwork competitions. In recent years, Palette Swap has expanded its definition of art, opening the team up to include sections on not just visual art, but forms of art like website design or user-made levels in games. Pipe Plaza	Pipe Plaza actually used to be a separate sector of the Wiki, a portal with the intention of keeping the community up to date on recent events and various aspects of the wiki in need of tidying up or improvement. Due to its considerable inactivity, it was decided via Proposal to add it in to The 'Shroom in the 32nd issue run by Super Mario Bros. (talk), but it didn’t get any content until the the next issue, whereupon Marioguy1 (talk) was added as a co-director. Over time, Pipe Plaza has moved from being a statistics hub for the community to being the general factual team of The 'Shroom. Pipe Plaza is currently headed by Zange (talk), and its current writers are Alex95 (talk) (NIWA News), the Poll Committee (Poll Committee Discussion), Hooded Pitohui (talk) (Forum Update), GPM1000 (talk) (Mario Calendar), Shoey (talk) (What's in a Campaign?) and Lakituthequick (talk) (Anniversary Announcements [seasonal]). Critic Corner	This Team was founded in the 64th issue special by the former Affiliates Manager Crocodile Dippy (talk) on July, 2014. Critic Corner was devised to help reduce the crowding of the main page by pulling all review and opinion sections into a single page. As a result, Critic Corner tends to be the wordiest of the teams. It started the trend for updated team designs due in large part to the coding assistance of 2257 (talk). The team continues to have plentiful sections by many dedicated writers. Critic Corner is run by Anton (talk) (who also writes Anton's Half-Baked Reviews), and its permanent writers are FunkyK38 (talk) (Book Reviews), Roserade (talk) (Rose's Quarantine Reviews), Doomhiker (Doomed Reviews), Yoshi876 (Pokédex Power), and MrConcreteDonkey (talk) ('Shroom FM). Strategy Wing	The most recent Team, Strategy Wing was debuted in the 100th Issue by former Director Stooben Rooben (talk) as a place to get together sections related to tips, tricks, hints, cheats, guides, walkthroughs, and more. It provides analytical and instructional sections, instructing readers on how to carry out tasks, providing tips, or doing deep dives into the history of a topic. The past year has seen the team expand its coverage thanks to a core group of dedicated writers. Warm Beverages vs Cold Beverages 'Shroomfest	The fourth 'Shroomfest, a debate between Lakituthequick and Roserade (judged by Ninja Squid) to determine whether warm beverages or cold beverages were better. Concluded in the victory of cold beverages The largest 'Shroomfest, in terms of number of posts. Gave rise to the "soupgate" joke and had a dedicated week for making memes. Heroes vs Villains 'Shroomfest	The first 'Shroomfest, a debate between Hooded Pitohui and Roserade (judged by Ninja Squid) to determine whether heroes or villains are better characters. Concluded in the victory of villains. The smallest 'Shroomfest to date, but set the standards for future editions. Opening story, forum thread, and highlights
Ultimate Location Battle	Organized by Ninja Squid and Goombuigi, and featured in The 'Shroom in issue 169, issue 170, issue 171, set to conclude with issue 172's release. Ninja Squid and Goombuigi selected their favorite locations from 3D Super Mario games and Mario RPGs, asking readers to vote and discuss their picks to help them narrow it down to one ultimate location. Rogues in Rogueport Mafia	A forum mafia game, hosted by Ninja Squid Kickstarted a resurgence in mafia games on the Super Mario Boards in 2021 Returned to basic mechanics, with only a mafia faction and an innocent faction, and no special roles for the mafia team. The framing of the story involved players trapped in the port town of Rogueport, with the innocents eventually discovering the mafia and successfully eliminating them. Notable roleplays from this game include Detective Fulbright (Reverse Input), Shmaluigi (Waluigi Time), the erudite untitled goose (Luigi 64DD), Ema Skye (Hooded Pitohui), and Ace Attorney's Godot (Alex95), among others. Sheep Mafia	A forum mafia game, hosted by Reverse Input Deliberately designed to build on Rogues in Rogueport mafia, retaining its simplicity while adding a few new roles and addressing some balance issues from the previous game. Had only a mafia faction and an innocent faction to help newer players learn the game, but added new roles like the godfather role to limit the ability of the town to rely on investigative roles. The largest and longest 2021 mafia game to date. The framing of the story saw sheep grazing in a field, threatened by wolves, ending when the wolves (mafia) successfully achieved numerical parity with the sheep (innocents). Notable roleplays from this game include Ray Trace (Baby Luigi), Shmaluigi (Waluigi Time), Morris (Hooded Pitohui), Shi-Long Lang (GBAToad), Diesel (Goombuigi), and Posh Kermit (InsaneBlathers), among others. Toad Brigade Mafia	A forum mafia game, hosted by Goombuigi Had only an innocent and mafia faction, introducing new roles appearing for the first time in 2021 mafia games to each faction. The framing of the story saw the Toad Brigade hunting down Wingo and his allies. In the end, Wingo and his allies (the mafia) achieved numerical parity and eliminated the Toad Brigade (innocents). Notable roleplays from this game include Klavier Gavin (Roserade), Larry Butz/Lightning the Hedgehog (Reverse Input), Boshi (Luigi 64DD), and Horace Shoely (Shoey), among others. Awards Killing Game 4	The fourth annual installment of the Awards Killing Game, a semi-freeform murder-mystery forum game, hosted by GBAToad and The Pyro Guy The largest of the Killing Games on the Super Mario Boards to date. 26 players began the game on two maps, before the game proceeded to a new merge map. Built upon past games mechanically by introducing new mechanics such as stock trading and NPCs, as well as by addressing balance issues by banning team-up murders. Built upon past games narratively by providing the final chapter of the "Deer Man arc" which had arisen over the course of past Killing Games. Created a number of widespread and memorable community memes. Notable roleplays in this game include the NPCs Sledge Shades, Bill and Monty, Kammina Koopa, Persni, and Big Changes, as well as Jake Marshall (Roserade), Vera Misham (Reverse Input), Beedle (Luigi 64DD), The Big Five (Superchao), Ernest Fine (MrConcreteDonkey), Louie (Eleven), Flintheart Glomgold (Shoey), and many others. Mushroom City Car Wash (roleplay)	The largest freeform roleplay on the Super Mario Boards, created by Long John Spaghetti. Kicked off the trend of roleplays on the forum, eventually resulting in the creation of the roleplay Board Began with the basic premise of Luigi working at the Mushroom City Car Wash, but has since expanded and now encompasses a huge variety of stories and locations. World of the Spirits (roleplay)	The third-largest roleplay on the Super Mario Boards, created by Blitz. A Super Smash Bros. themed roleplay, it sees multiple dimensions to create the World of the Spirits, a world where the Rebellion aims to destroy Galeem and Dharkon. Notable characters include Madeline (Long John Spaghetti), Mario (Blitz), Demior (Blitz), Corey (Mija), and Cosmos (Mija), among others. The Altonia Files (roleplay)	The second-largest roleplay on the Super Mario Boards, when combining the continuation with the original, created by Magolor04276. Began with the premise of characters exploring the time-torn land of Altonia, where, due to a mishap with a time machine, various elements of the past had been brought into the present. Notable arcs include The Phansion of Fear, where Firey Yoshi explored the Mansion of Phan, and The Thing from Another World, where Marvin the Martian invaded Altonia seeking out Firey Yoshi and Oscar, the world's richest boy. Awards Ceremony 2020	The ceremony where users presented the results of votes in the fourteenth Mario Awards celebration. Consisted of user-made presentations covering the results of the Mario Awards XIV (30 awards), the Fail Awards XII (15 awards), and the Community Awards XIII (10 awards). Managed by Anton (Awards Director, Mario Awards host), Turboo (Awards Sub-Director, Fail Awards host), and Hooded Pitohui (Community Awards host) Included ongoing chat party where users could discuss the award presentations and results. April Fool's Day 2021	Planned and made by the Wiki Staff and Porplemontage (with assistance from the Poll Committee) Themed around the death of Mario, the character, based on jokes that Mario would die March 31st, 2021 due to pulling of certain 35th anniversary games. The Wiki rebranded as the "Super Wiki," references to Mario were removed, and Porplemontage created a script that removed the word "Mario" wherever it appeared on the Wiki. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Photo Contest	A photo contest for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, organized by Lord Bowser and held in issue 167, issue 168, and issue 169 of The 'Shroom.
