The 'Shroom Spotlight

Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.

Welcome to this November edition of the Spotlight project. There is no special theme for this month, so I have a grab-bag of potential focuses. And hopefully we'll get that coveted 100% completion rate.

Sadly, we didn't get there last time, we only got a 50% completion rate. Black Chest Demon, Luigi 1 and File:Yoshi and Grim Leecher.png were all uncompleted, although I did see Time Turner (talk) query about the image quality focus on Discord. On a happier note, TheFlameChomp (talk) added a layout section to Secret of the Inverted Pyramid, improving the article's quality tenfold, Hooded Pitohui (talk) was able to find the page number that was required for Paper Dry Bones and Shy Guy on Wheels (talk) found the missing Peepa sprites for List of Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam pre-release and unused content.

And now onto this month's focuses:

Article Category Focuses
Megafruit Paradise
Wanted article
Super Mario Party may have only just recently been released, but we have managed to make several articles around it. However, Megafruit Paradise, one of the boards from its Mario Party mode still needs a bit of vitamin C, and yes that stands for Vitamin Creation.
The Plain
Stub article
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is almost upon us, so what better time to improve The Plain? Much like last month's stub focus, all it needs is a level layout section, and we're good to go.
Francis
Rewrite required
I wish I could be surprised that the nerdy caricture from Super Paper Mario needed to be rewritten, but sadly I am not. The article goes into excessive detail about him, includes things not relevant to him, and could the layout really benefit from being split into separate sections rather than a wall of text. One section for his role in the game, general appearance, personality etc.
Big Daddy
Citation needed
The Big Daddy of Blooper Surfing needs not one source, but two sources. But, they are both around his name, we need a source for Big Daddy in general, and what seems to be a nickname in Bloopy. The nickname I have difficulty believing to be true, so if no source is found that should be removed.

Image quality requested
We're going back to Super Mario Galaxy this month with an image that really needs a reupload. It's blurry, quite dark, and poorly cropped, what is required is a lighter, clear and full image.
Regional coin
Articles that need more images
We are so close with this article, it's unreal. All we need is artwork, a model and a screenshot of the coin in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about the NIWA Spotlight. This is a project being run by Alex95 (talk) and can be found in this paper's Pipe Plaza section. Much like this Spotlight, the NIWA Spotlight aims to fix up articles across various Nintendo franchises, that are all part of our NIWA group. I'd also like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently 13, which is four less than last month, that need to be implemented, some of which date back to 2015, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact myself on my wiki talk page. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition. Thank you, and good luck!
