The 'Shroom:Issue 136/Poll Chairperson Address
Hey, everyone! This is The Pyro Guy (talk) here, as your freshly elected Chairperson of the Poll Committee. Joining me in my reign over the committee is Roserade (talk), who will be my vice-chairperson for the next year. First things first, thanks to Roserade, Lord Bowser (talk), our voters, and of course the rest of the 2017-2018 Poll Committee for the help and support we were given during our campaign. I've thoroughly enjoyed being part of the team for the last two years and I hope to inspire that enjoyment in our next batch of members as we lead the committee forwards.
Speaking of our next batch of members, applications are now open to be part of this term's new committee. We're looking for 6 dedicated, active and creative members to be part of the group and work together to produce a whole lot of polls. If you're interested, please PM myself and Roserade by Saturday, July 29th, including a brief introduction to yourself and why you're interested, as well as a sample poll idea. More details can be found in the dedicated forum topic. We'll announce the results shortly after the application period ends, so stay tuned!
I'm very much looking forward to this next term and to working with the community. We've got a busy year ahead of us, but also a fun year with lots of cool things to do. Again, thank you so much for your support and we hope to have an amazing term together.
