Hey guys, Shokora here with a relatively frosty edition of The 'Shroom: Spotlight! This is a monthly section that brings community attention to a specially selected group of wiki articles that require improvement. These articles are taken from a wide range of maintenance categories, so there is always something for readers of all diverse interests and expertise.

I also have a definite frosty announcement to make. Due to personal restrictions, I will be stepping down as co-manager of the Spotlight project from the new year. I thank Yoshi876 for continuing to chariot the project to his full ability, and to all readers for your support! I'll now pass you on to the man himself, who will update us on our progress on last month's selection of articles.

I think I speak for everyone here when we say we will miss you Shokora. You helped revitalise the project, and hopefully we will keep up that momentum. Thank you for all your hard work, and best of luck for the future. However, just as some clarification, at this moment in time, I am not looking for a new co-runner, this will go back my sole stewardship. However, if things change I will be open to a new one.

Moving on to how we did last month, we did reasonably perfect, all six of our focuses were fulfilled. Toadette the Achiever (talk) finally fulfilled one of our most frequent focuses, in Fruit (minigame). I am so glad that this has finally been completed, after four years of not having the article, now all we need is for Kung Fu to be done, and I believe that Game & Wario coverage on the wiki will be complete. Speaking of frequent focuses, Toadette the Achiever (talk) also rewrote Beldam. TheFlameChomp (talk) added information to Ruins Key, removing the sub tag from it.

Baby Luigi (talk) added the missing image to Neon Heights, and also took it upon herself to add missing images to all of the other Mario Party 7 boards, something that I always envisioned Spotlight to do: highlight one article from a series that is a bit poor, and see a user fix up all their issues as well as the highlighted one. Luigi 64DD (talk) did some sleuthing, and determined the claim on the Gold Fuzzy page to be false, so the information was removed. And finally, Silky. When I highlighted this, I didn't expect to be fixed if I'm honest, but Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) added more Wario Land 3 information, and Owencrazyboy9 (talk) added the Dr. Mario 64 information.

Article Category Focuses
Penguin Chow
Wanted article
Everyone's thinking of leaving a carrot out for the overfed reindeer, but what about all those poor hungry penguins? This WarioWare: D.I.Y. microgame is starving for an article. We also ask for a charitable donation of milk and cookies to be left at front of the Spotlight office door.
Chill 'n' Char Island
Stub article
A mess of hot and cold has resulted in a rapidly melting article. Information on levels, enemies and the like are completely missing. 'Shroom Spotlight hint: World 3 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) might be a good template.
Eddie the Mean Old Yeti
Rewrite required
No wonder this guy's so mean. The structure of his article is all over the place, and this has led to some repetition. Maybe the Christmas present of a better structured article will melt his heart and make him just Eddie the Old Yeti.
Sherbet Land (world)
Rewrite and expansion required
On a giant iceberg, somewhere west of a teapot lies six secret courses which haven't yet been mapped by the bravest pole explorers. Grab a cup of tea and venture out to fill this missing Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 info!
Star (Mario Party series)
Articles that need more images
Let's not lose faith in the true meaning of Christmas in that a star will guide our way to peace, fraternity and of course Mario Party wins. Help us by supplying more images, such as screenshots to add to this star of a gallery.
Gallery:Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Articles that need more images
We know that over this festive period, you might not want to do a lot of work. So, for those of you are only interested in a small job, all this gallery needs is the Japanese logo, and then you can go enjoy your presents and eggnog etc..

Also, this isn't a formal focus of ours, but Time Turner (talk) did ask us to bring attention to all of the unimplemented proposals. Some of them are as old as 2012, it would be great if by the time we come back next year if they were all implemented.

Thanks for tuning in to the newest edition of The 'Shroom Spotlight! Be sure to turn up next month, where we'll be reviewing the progress on the above focuses. If you have any questions or suggestions about this month's set of article focuses, then please get in touch through the dedicated topic if you have a forum account. If not, then please contact Yoshi876 on their wiki talk page. You are also welcome to make suggestions on what you think we could focus on in our next edition. Thank you, and good luck!
