Hello everyone and welcome to Issue 124! I have quite a few announcements to make. The first thing I would like to do is announce the new Fun Stuff Director. After some discussion with the Core Staff, we have decided that Lord Bowser (talk) sent in the best application. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be a great addition to the team. Next on our list, the Awards Committee is having its annual Art Contest! Be sure to check it out and vote for your favorites. Thanks to everyone who participated in that. Finally, Lord Bowser has his Poll Committee Chairsperson Address up along with the members of the Eighth Poll Committee. Thanks to everyone for helping make The 'Shroom a pleasure, I hope you enjoy this issue.

Hello, 'Shroom readers! Welcome to the July issue! I apologize if we've got any messy spots lying around, this issue's publication had... a few snags. But the 'Shroom perseveres, and we managed to get it all up! If you do spot any errors lying around, please tell us ASAP unless they've already been addressed. There's not all that much special this month... well, beyond the Poll Committee election and the new chairman. Good work for Lord Bowser, getting two staff jobs at once! Or maybe bad work, considering all his new responsibilities. We'll just have to wait and see!

| 3rd | Where in the Marioverse is Carmen Sandiego? | FunkyK38 (talk) | This section has a very unique and fun concept that sets it apart from other guessing sections. I very much look forward to seeing more of this section. | |

| 8th | Cooking Guide | The Pyro Guy (talk) | The artwork made us chuckle several times and we feel that's worthy of a nomination. His drawings have improved with each section passing and he's found a voice that works for him and the section that feels uniquely silly. | |
