On the template, instead of writing {{tem|randomquote}], why not {{tem|randomquote}} instead?--Launchballer 17:54, 13 November 2009 (EST)

Cartoon quotes[edit]

So, is the general rule for quotes from the cartoons to put the name of the show or the name of the episode in the template? I put the name of the episode there when I added the quote template to the recently inserted quotes on the Koopaling articles, since that is how articles like Robo Koopa (alter ego) do it, but they were all changed to the show names; other uses of episode titles in quote templates have been left intact, however.--vellidragon 11:38, 20 April 2010 (EDT)

The template only works if you put either the character who said it or the episode it came from, not both. I would use the character who said it though if I were you. Marioguy1 (talk)
Nvm that, I would do {{quote|Hi!|Wendy|Never Koopa a Koopa}} (the parameters are off the top of my head). There is an option for that. Marioguy1 (talk)

Use single quotes[edit]

Since this template includes double quotes, we should use single quotes in the quotation. What about telling this in the template page? Another gossip-loving Toad (talk) 02:29, 1 October 2014 (EDT)
