The Teapot (known as the Kettle in British English) is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is found within Chomp Ruins, though it is hidden quite well. There is a waterfall next to a Save Block Mario must look out for. He needs to use his Hammer to reveal the Hidden Blocks in front of the waterfall. Once he has a platform, he needs to jump into the waterfall. He ends up in a secret room where the teapot is found and collected. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 300 coins.

As a sticker, the teapot takes up four squares in Mario's Album. If and when it is used in battle, Mario walks offscreen, allowing the teapot's spout to appear in the corner of the screen. As water pools out of it, flooding the enemies, the player can tap A Button to inflict further damage.

The teapot can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #13, alongside the other water-related Things. Its description identifies it as another type of security alarm, used for a cold-resistant home and activated if the invader turned the heat on.

A Teapot also appears in Paper Mario: Color Splash. It has a different design, and collecting it is mandatory.
