Talk:Yoshi's Crafted World

Is it too early to call this game "Yoshi's Crafted World"? The name was on a list of eShop lists among other titles such as WarioWare: Fart Mania, Mario, Sonic, and Pacman at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and LEGO Legend of Zelda. There are a few factors as to why this name could be possibly fake:
(1) It's too early for a new Olympics game.
(2) No Mario & Sonic game has ever included Pacman before.
(3) Even for a WarioWare game, why would the word "fart" be in the title?
(4) If there was a LEGO Legend of Zelda game, surely there should be a theme to go with it.
(5) Luigi's Mansion Pop! does not sound like a real Luigi's Mansion title.
(6) What games would be in the NSMB collection?
(7) Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Hell?
Maybe it's best to wait for the Nintendo Direct before having a name for the new Yoshi game? LegoMarioBros (talk) 17:00, 13 September 2018 (EDT)

Every other game you listed was faked. Yoshi's Crafted World was leaked by Nintendo when the last Direct was supposed to go up, and then taken down. If Nintendo doesn't reveal anything in the Direct in an hour, then it can probably be moved back to just "Yoshi". Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:02, 13 September 2018 (EDT)

Hey, May I please edit this page? It's view source combined with having a piece of miss-information and that's really annoying. There is a bothersome piece of miss-information here (about as bothersome as that Larry being the "same size as Peach" thing from a while back despite Larry very clearly being shorter than Mario in all appearances, and as a Larry fan, I knew how obvious that was, except I was able to fix that problem with the page), with the whole Yo'ster Cookies thing, that's actually a reference to the Japanese version of Super Mario World, not Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars merely referenced the Japanese version of Super Mario World. Also, off topic, on Mario's page, given I'll probably never get to edit that one (neither this page come to think of it), may someone please change it so that it doesn't claim Mario is 155cm, that's false and there is no proof of it, not to mention the whole "Life Size" thing in the statue was not meant to refer to Mario's canon height, as there is a "Life Size" Mario plush I found on ebay that is "Nintendo Licensed" and is 48 inches.

The page is currently semi-protected to prevent the spread of misinformation, which happens often with upcoming media. On another note, you'll need to be autoconfirmed before you can edit the page. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 23:13, 18 February 2019 (EST)
The Mario's height thing does have a reference, but it seems the link is dead. I remember hearing more about his canon height, though, maybe I can find something again. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 23:16, 18 February 2019 (EST)

@Alex95 I don't know, I feel like saying Mario is 155cm is kind of insulting to short people (such as myself) as I'm only a mere 166cm In height. Not to mention I found two sources that seem to imply that Mario cannot be 155cm simply based on the realistic people of New Donk City. The sources I found are here, and I'd like to know what the people here think - http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2017/06/miyamoto_was_worried_how_players_would_react_to_mario_odysseys_new_donk_city and this - https://gonintendo.com/stories/293589-super-mario-odyssey-director-explains-why-new-donk-city-takes-a-r

@Toadette the Achiever You know what's ironic about the page being semi-protected the prevent the spread of misinformation? the fact I'm bugged by misinformation on the page, as Yo'ster Cookies is actually a reference to the Japanese Super Mario World, not Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars simply referenced that. Also, I have been a member of this wiki for a while, given I made my account for the purpose of fixing that misinformation part on Larry's page, though I haven't made much edits. I did find misinformation on Ludwig's page as well claiming that Ludwig was the same size as Rosalina (completely ridiculous, as Ludwig is also shorter than Mario as well, in every appearance, just a little taller than Larry, who is, of course, shorter than Mario in every appearance), but for whatever reason, I never edited that. Perhaps so I can get the 10 edits, I can fix stuff like that, then I'd be able to fix this Yo'ster Cookies issue, unless someone else already fixes it before me

You're right, I didn't see the page said that, but I know it's true. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:32, 18 February 2019 (EST)

Alien Guys

I know this might not be what they are supposed to be, but the Alien Shy Guys in this game remind me of Captain Shy Guy from Mario Party 8. (Speaking of which, I feel like Captain Shy Guy is probably only the name of that one specific Alien Shy Guy that calls himself Captain Shy Guy.) Should we say that the Alien Guys are the same thing as the "Captain Shy Guy"s from Mario Party 8? Luigi1234 (talk) 14:14, May 9, 2019 (EDT)

Conjectural enemy names

A few enemies without official names just have N/A as their name, yet Zombig Guys and Killer Clowns have conjectural names. The game has been out for 2 months, and I think we should have added conjectural names for the rest by now. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 18:11, May 22, 2019 (EDT)

Regarding the Shy Guy enemies, and the "Ukirilla" group, i think it'd be the safest to have every "Ukirilla" in one article, while we should wait for material for the Shy Guy enemies. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 02:14, May 23, 2019 (EDT)
But what about the rest? There's also the squirrel creatures, rolling prickly creatures, tinfoil Mels, and blue alien squids. Obsessive Mario Fan (talk) 15:19, May 23, 2019 (EDT)
Regarding the tinfoil Mel, it'd be best to look at Yoshi's Island material, to see if it's indeed a separate entity from Mel. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 12:31, May 27, 2019 (EDT)

New enemies indicated by *

I want to put a * by some enemies to indicate it debuted here, since new and returning are in the same table. I'm pretty much just looking for permission right now because I don't want to jump onto something that might damage the layout Pallukun (talk) 09:27, June 17, 2019 (EDT)

Put it before the [[, or the {{conjectural|, i'd say. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 09:29, June 17, 2019 (EDT)
To clarify, you mean *Bushydo, not Bushydo* Pallukun (talk) 09:33, June 17, 2019 (EDT)
After (Bushydo*) is generally how list entries are marked with asterisks. Lucina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 09:39, June 17, 2019 (EDT)

Shogun of Skewers

Where does the name comes from? Minibosses haven't their names shown up. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 09:57, June 17, 2019 (EDT)

One of the crafts is called the "Shogun of Skewers Banner", and shows a picture of him. --DeepFriedCabbage 12:21, June 17, 2019 (EDT)

Takko is an enemy?

If Takkos cannot harm you should they go in the allies section? Duckfan77 (talk) 14:07, March 30, 2020 (EDT)

They're considered enemies by the game's coding, as discussed on Takko's talk page. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:10, March 30, 2020 (EDT)
Ok thanks! Duckfan77 (talk) 14:12, March 30, 2020 (EDT)
