In this case, English is the language-of-origin, and it treats these as color variations. Considering they act only slightly different from each other anyway, I don't see why this needs split. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:32, March 2, 2023 (EST)

https://eguides.primagames.com/ won't load for me, so I don't have access to my copy of the DKCTF Prima book where I could see if "Yellow Snaggles" is used consistently throughout the guide or just in the heading of this enemy's bio--but if the former is the case, then I don't see why this page should be merged. It would be the more recent English name, the enemy acts differently from regular Snaggles however small that difference may be, and the DKCR Prima guides (where their generic "Snaggles"/"Nibbles" designation comes from) contain several confusions that make the guide too shoddy to resort to as a main source. Examples of such errors include the faceless fireballs in some Volcano levels conflated with Char-Chars, Tiki Zings apparently having a metallic, buzzsaw-like derivative (and being an animate Factory object in DKCR doesn't necessarily imply an affiliation with the Tiki Tak Tribe), and inferring from Big Squeekly's individual instances that there must be more than one Big Squeekly. -- KOOPA CON CARNE 19:02, March 2, 2023 (EST)
If the guides consistantly split the yellow Snaggles from the normal Snaggles, then I'm pretty sure we should too as Koopa con Carne mentioned with the Finley situation. For the record, not every "color variation" always has to be merged, especially if notable differences are still blatant. The Prima website is now cooperating with me and I could check the DKCTF guide. It seems that "Yellow Snaggles" (with capital "Y") is indeed consistently treated as the enemy's proper name: it is rendered as such within the enemy's bio (outside of the bio's heading) as well as in the Panicky Paddles walkthrough tab, which states: "Drop into the juice at point 3 and scoop up all of the nearby bananas to reveal a Puzzle Piece. Unfortunately, the patrolling Yellow Snaggles makes it fairly difficult to complete this seemingly simple task. Defeat this enemy as quickly as possible, or evade its attacks until you’re ready to leave the area.". -- KOOPA CON CARNE 06:39, May 12, 2023 (EDT)
