Why?[edit]

Why does this article have all of the levels. For the Lost Levels, each level has its own article.SuperPickle Visit the Pickle Shop on my userspace or else! 14:34, 18 February 2012 (EST)

Merge[edit]

The levels of this world have individual articles, yet no other world article for SMB and SMB:LL does that. I suggest we merge the four articles into this one. Also, why doesn't Super Mario Bros. Special have any world articles? You would probably say they are too similar to SMB's worlds, yet I think they are good enough. Respond to either of those, I couldn't care less. --Mariofan5000 (talk) 12:38, 26 September 2013 (EDT)

If more users are OK, we can divide our arcticles (like, I do 16 levels and you do the other 16 levels) in order to do them faster. Anyway, I'm more than OK. But I'm still not an autoconfirmed user (I register June 4th, 2014) and I can't create pages. Tsunami (talk)
What should be done is create level articles for the missing ones, basically every other game has them, so should these. Yoshi876 (talk)
Absolutely. When I be an autoconfirmed user (tomorrow or June 7th) I start making the World 1-1 page for SMB Special. If you're OK, Yoshi876, we can start making these pages. For your help, this is a link of a playthrough of SMB Special: all 8 Worlds + some specials. I think that is the only one on YouTube, luckilly we have this: [[1]]. I think I'll start editing SMB Special soon. P.S For further discussion remember to check my talk page! Tsunami (talk)
VGMaps.com has the maps for all levels in SMBS. --Mariofan5000 (talk) 14:16, 5 June 2014 (EDT)
Yes, I found and check them but I forget them. OK, we can use them. Tsunami (talk)
I think a merge is a bad idea. If anything we should eventually create individual articles for every single level in a world, they're certainly complex enough to do so if described thoroughly. A world article should only include basic brief overviews of the levels without going into excessive detail. The 4 articles world 1's levels have unto themselves is great! ty (talk) 01:03, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

This World: OK, and the others?[edit]

This World has its appropriate Levels. And it's OK. But all the others don't, and this is kinda unfair. We can either make other 32 articles for the other levels OR editing the World pages to describe the levels here. And I'm refering at descriptions like the ones founded in the World 1 levels pages. What should we do? Tsunami (talk)

Choice of graphics[edit]

The "Preview" of level World 1-4 uses artwork of Bowser from All-Stars. Should we really be doing that? It's one thing to show how the appearance changed on the article for the level, but the world overview, shouldn't it use the original artwork?

The only exception would be the SMBDX maps which represent the world as a whole, those should stay since there's no original game equivalent to them. ty (talk) 01:03, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

Uh.. Those preview pictures aren't from SMB 1[edit]

The preview pictures are definitely not from SMB 1. Excuse me for my total lack of knowledge on other Super Mario games, but the preview pictures aren't even from the right game. Minindario (talk) 18:19, 26 October 2016 (EDT)

It's just because there's no map or title card for levels in the original SMB. There are screenshots of SMB ports. Don't forget to sign with --~~~~. --An image for my user page (Talk to me!) 06:49, 26 October 2016 (EDT)

Ok, signed it. I'll crop small sections of the SMB levels instead soon, when I find the time. Minindario (talk) 18:20, 26 October 2016 (EDT)

  • sigh* Made images for Worlds 1-1 to 1-4, then found I didn't have permission to upload them. Maybe another time, when I've been here long enough to have clearance. Minindario (talk) 18:31, 26 October 2016 (EDT)
