I don't remember any Whale in SMB2. Can you say what world he was from, and is it the THE Whale or a generic Whale. Also, is Whale the official name for these creatures (I know they are obviously Whales, but still).Knife (talk) 23:26, 10 March 2007 (EST)

Whales are definitely in Level 4-2. There's even a warp vase on 1 or near 2 of them. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 00:37, 11 March 2007 (EST)

But is it still official? Does the SMB2 credits say so?Knife (talk) 00:39, 11 March 2007 (EST)

They're like scenery. And no, not in credits. 3dhammer.gif 3D, scene it? 3dhammer.gif

But is the Whale from PM named Whale? If so, gotta slap on the {{partconjecture}} template.Knife (talk) 18:50, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

I think it was called "The Whale" Tadaa!2.gifPlumberTadaaa!.gif

Split?

Shouldn't Whale, the species (from SMB 2) and The Whale from Paper Mario get their separate articles? One is a species, the other a character. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 05:04, 30 June 2007 (EDT)

Yes. The character looks and behave different, and, as you mentioned, is his own character. BTW, is there any in-game dialogue that actually refers to him as "The Whale"? The "The" part in the article name seems unnecessary. -- Booster

No, this article is only for the whale in Paper Mario. Yoshi876 (talk)
