Is "Wario Blast: Featuring Bomberman!" the full title? This comes from the front of the North American box, including an asterisk to signify that Bomberman isn't a Wario character (the European cover also removes the exclamation). Everywhere else, including the manual, has no sign of this apparent subtitle (even though it's popular on the Internet). I believe this is rather supposed to be a tagline, since it's plainly typed in as a minor part of the packaging and is not clearly a piece of the logo; either way, this or that has to be renamed. Page 2: "Thank you for selecting the Wario BlastTM Featuring Bomberman* Game Pak for the Nintendo® Game Boy® Unit." Seems to be the full title to me. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
The full name is also in the title screen (including exclamation mark, but no asterisk). - Walkazo 13:16, 9 June 2015 (EDT)
In the official logo artwork and that specific quote, only the Wario Blast portion is visibly trademarked, and the rest of the manual calls it simply Wario Blast. If "Wario Blast Featuring Bomberman*/!" was intended to be the full title, it would most likely have been subject to the Nintendo lot check process and not pass in its final state (although maybe there were different standards given that this was a one-time deal with Hudson). Since the Wario version will probably never be on Virtual Console or be mentioned by Nintendo or Konami, I guess the simplest thing is to keep it as-is, due to how the in-game title screen displays it. Bomberman (GB) planned?Edit

In page 20 of the Chilean Club Nintendo magazine, year 3 no. 10, there's a listing of Bomberman for Game Boy from their Summer CES 94 report, which are clearly of Bomberman GB. It seems to already refer to the main villain as "Mad Bomber" (and refers to the location as "Big City" which I'm pretty sure isn't used for either version). Given that the Consumer Electronics Show is a western event, this could mean that Bomberman GB was considered to be released in the west relatively as is. Should it be added to the development section? LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:36, May 14, 2022 (EDT)

I don't see why not Somethingone (talk) 11:39, May 14, 2022 (EDT)
