Move

I think it should be moved since an official name is found and has the source. But since it's Japanese, we should clearly put the Another language template. Moving it is the best way, since it has at least a sourced official name. --83.156.220.80 13:58, 23 August 2018 (EDT)

True, but Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia will come out on October 23rd with an official English name (if it doesn't get delayed again or canceled), so it's more pragmatic to move it then. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:03, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
If there will be an official english name for it, would there be a name for the generic ones? I know they are intended to be moved to Torpedo tube, but Torpedo Teds are called Bullet Bill Torpedoes. --83.156.220.80 14:08, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
Yep, Skull Boxes will have a proper name as well. Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia will be useful for certain article titles that currently resort to foreign or conjectural names. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:40, 23 August 2018 (EDT)
These boxes are now known as Targeting Ted Launch Pads, according to a recent edit. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 17:39, 23 October 2018 (EDT)

Since I moved Torpedo Base to Torpedo tube, should we change this article’s name to be in line with the recently changed normal variant? MightyMario (talk)Mario's icon from Mario Kart Tour. 14:53, February 22, 2024 (EST)

Well, I would say just get rid of the identifier and make it the new Torpedo Base article. Derivatives aren't normally changed when the parent species is moved. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:00, April 15, 2024 (EDT)
