Um... I don't think we should have this article yet. We have no name, about 30 seconds of footage and no actual announcement, only a glimpse in the Nintendo Switch first look. Until the game is actually announced and we get a name, I do not believe this page should exist.

The more I think about it, the more I think that people who don't go to the Mario Boards have no way to stay up to date on the information being distributed. These articles are giving non-speculative information. It is enough that those who don't go to the Mario Boards can be kind of up to date with what is going on, but not too much where it becomes needing to be only on the Mario Boards. I didn't start the Mario Boards until after I saw a video with Black Bowser in it. Both this and the Mario Kart one should both have the template that says to not talk forum talk. It's already mentioned on the Switch's page and I think that's all it needs, since we have almost no information on it. Same goes for Mario Kart (Nintendo Switch), which I didn't see until just now.

I fully agree to the removal of these two pages. There is nothing official. Maybe, this is only simple tech demo to show how the Nintendo Switch works. In addition, at the end of the video "First Look at Nintendo Switch", we can be read at 3:32 : "Game footage not final; graphics and features subject to change". So, saying those game are kind of official, this is highly speculative. The way it is write on Nintendo Switch is fine for now. In my opinion, this is too soon to make page for a "Super Mario" and a "Mario Kart" that are not really official for the moment. --LudwigVon Sig.png(TALK) 21:14, 17 November 2016 (EST)
As most of you know, Shokora is an admin. I looked in the revision history for Mario Kart (Nintendo Switch) and I noticed he made an edit, perhaps implying that he thinks it should not be deleted. I asked him on his talkpage why these articles were created, but he has not responded as of my typing this. As far as my personal opinion goes, I don't think they need articles until they are confirmed.

Admins don't carry more weight in their opinions though they do have the full power to delete the page. Anyhow, I'm for page deletion too, since it's heavy speculation as this point. We don't even know if this is a game or a mere tech demo. Nothing is confirmed for the Mario Kart Nintendo Switch thing either, so just remove that. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. I do believe that this article needs to stay. It is not totally speculation as it is based on the video. The Mario Kart Switch has a Mario Kart 8 style that is not final, but they pretty much confirm that it is going to be on the Switch. Same goes for this article. Until a name is confirmed, they are fine. "Editors must cite sources for all contributions to this article" assures me that speculation will be at a low level. Once Nintendo confirms the name, a move will be necessary. And if you want to hear something that is more speculative then these articles, go find some on GameXplain on YouTube. They have many videos about Switch rumors and speculations. Lastly, I will wait to see what Shokora, formerly known as YoshiKong (he changed his name based on his favorite character), to see what he has to say, too.

I say it's about 4% facts and 96% speculation since those footages are literally less than 10, if not 5 seconds long. The only thing we know for sure is that 1) the Nintendo Switch is confirmed and 2) there is gameplay footage. No games are confirmed no matter how much we want to stretch it. Besides, there is no haste to create such articles. We'll find out one way or the other, so I think those articles should be left deleted until we get more information and we don't have to move and play around with links just because we jumped the gun a bit here. You really do make strong arguments. I am still waiting on Shokora, though. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 23:29, 17 November 2016 (EST)
I will admit the creation of this article and the Mario Kart one was probably a bit hasty on my part. I probably looked at the trailer and came to the conclusion that both were certainly new games, rather than, for example, tech demos. I consent to the deletion of both.

It looks like the majority, even the guy who created the articles, think they should be deleted. But we'll have to wait for Shokora's input even if he says no, since he seems to be the only active Admin and is thus the only active user who can delete a page.

Henry Tucayo Clay is online too. But he has done nothing with either article. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 11:02, 18 November 2016 (EST)
It was L151 who deleted the articles, though. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 14:46, 18 November 2016 (EST)

Well, since the creator of the articles says it's okay to delete them, mark them up for deletion so they pop up in the "to be deleted" category. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 12:08, 18 November 2016 (EST)
