How are we so sure that all Star Bunnies are actually Lumas in disguise? We've only seen 3 Lumas transforming into Star Bunnies and then back, but there are more than 3 Star Bunnies. In SMG2, there aren't even Lumas seen transforming into Star Bunnies at all. Nor there are Star Bunnies transforming into Lumas in that game. What I think, is that Lumas have just the ability to transform into this species, though the creatures still exist as originally Star Bunnies. ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits)

Well, if there are 3 Lumas transforming into bunnies in the first gameplay, than that's proof! We don't have to see MORE Lumas transforming into Star Bunnies as proof..

Trivia[edit]

Don't these bunnies play the same role as MIPS? So shouldn't that be included? GG445 Me! "...?" heiho!

Based on a myth?[edit]

Rumors say that the Star Bunnies might be based on the Moon Rabbit myth, should we add that in? 46.213.251.238 15:31, 11 January 2016 (EST)

No. First of all, I don't see a source. Second, rumors are vague and therefore difficult to reference here in wikis, where we need a hard source for some of these "truths". BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 15:35, 11 January 2016 (EST)

Well, let's see...they live in space, correct? And are rabbits, which they are. 46.213.251.238 15:38, 11 January 2016 (EST)

This is still incredibly vague "proof". For one, "space" is like an entire system of things that are not in Planet Earth (I could argue that Earth is in space too). If we encountered the rabbits on a moon-like planet, then, yes, it is possible it could be based on the pareidolia observed by Eastern Asian countries on the moon. They aren't, however. I think it's more likely they're rabbits mostly because Super Mario 64 first used rabbits as things you should catch, and this game simply followed suit by making them space. If there's no concrete evidence besides a weak connection, then it shouldn't be considered. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 18:54, 11 January 2016 (EST)

I get you. We must let the others know about this before we can consider this or not. 46.213.106.245 06:14, 12 January 2016 (EST)
