Is there any proof besides the appearance? It looks similar, but different, so i think think it's speculation based on the appearance.

Could say the same thing about Smookers being a Jelectro. Again, inference is not speculation; the first story he's in is filled with Trouters, including on the same panel as him, and aside from expression and him having a bowtie, the lineart is exactly the same. Also, the later story with Bertha and Smookers featured other typical fish enemies as friendly guys. The NCS stories really went out of their way to avoid having species that weren't in the games, including for background wildlife. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:55, July 13, 2020 (EDT)
