Let me get this straight...Edit

There's nothing wrong with a speculative statement like the the last bit of trivia here when others do it. But when I try it for anything else (keeping it reasonably enough), there's somehow everything wrong with it (and that it "tears a hole in teh canon of the Mario universe!!!11").

A LOT of things in the Mario series are left up to speculation as it is.

Saying that something is unknown is not speculation; it is actually telling the truth. For example, if it said "Robirdo is probably a sentient being", that would be speculation. Yoshiwaker
