Move Please

I believe this page should be moved to "Mushroom Castle," because Super Paper Mario makes it clear that that is the name. Princess Peach's Castle is simply saying that the castle belongs to Peach. Why else would we label "Mario's House" as "Mario's Pad?" Any objections? Klaus Kratchet

Let's see... so if I have this right, it's been called Princess Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario. It's been called Mushroom Castle in Super Mario RPG and Super Paper Mario. I'd go with the current name. YL Peach's Castle is the most recent name, so we should move it to that. Main Picture

Is it just me, or is it against the importance policy to have a Super Smash Bros. picture as the main picture when there's other ones available? I mean, I'm kinda biased against the SSB series, so maybe that's why I'm saying this... CrystalYoshi 17:36, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

I was meaning to get to that. Since, per a proposal, we now have separate articles for all Smash Bros. courses, that picture is no longer applicable to this article, regardless of one's opinion of the series. Comic and Television Info

I'm trying to figure out all the times the castle has appeared. We'll have to go through the Nintendo Comics System with a fine tooth comb, that's a given, but what about the rest? I remember that it appeared in Super Mario Adventures and "Tag Team Trouble." I think it also appeared in, "Recycled Koopa," but I'm not sure how the castle looked from the outside on that show, so someone else would need to confirm that. The Main image and the Super Mario 64 section image; Where are they from? For the Main Image, the sky never looks pink in Super Mario 64, and the second pic looks edited. Back-to-back TTP's, I know, right?

Now, just take a look at the article and scroll down the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Now tell me that it isn't the biggest section of the page of the entire article.

My point is, Much of that - if not half - is dealing with the exterior of the Peach's Castle, known as Peach's Castle Gardens. It is stated in the game, in the guidebook, as well as among other articles on this wiki. There is more than enough informatin to split, as well as a boss that was fought there!

It seems only fit that if they are separate of each other, they should not be together in the first place. Even if this fails, there should be a sub-header about the garden within that section.

Mario Sports Mix castle

... is NOT Peach's Castle. First, you see Peach's Castle in the game, but it is in the background of Peach's court, and looks the same as usual. The castle you see in the Mushroom Cup is definitely not Peach's Castle - I could try and say it's based on its Super Mario RPG design, but that's a major stretch anyway. I propose we get rid of the part referring to it as Peach's Castle. On another note, shouldn't we add a pic of Peach's Castle for every main series game that has it ? Palace

Shouldn't this article be called "Princess Peach's Palace"? After all, Peach lives in a palace, not a castle. There is a ballroom and luxurious bedrooms inside.

Princess Peach's Castle should remain as "Princess Peach's Castle" because it is officially stated multiple times it is a castle. The castle in Mario Sports Mix is Peach's castle as well because it is also officially stated to be a castle. It also has it is own article here. It's me, Mario! I don't think it is necessary to mention this in the article's Trivia section, really. Strangely, world contents of the setting in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis are merged with the general location of Peach's Castle. That seems wrong to me. About SM64 Castle

Nintendo of Korea's official SM64DS guide[2] considers Princess Secret Slide and Bowser in the Dark World are in the 2nd floor of the castle. I think we need to change some sections'(first floor, second floor, third floor) name. Geoteve (talk) 04:33, 8 August 2017 (EDT)

The names of these sections are in accordance with the SM64 Instruction Booklet (page 16). The floor where these levels are accessed is referred to as Balcony.

The Nintendo Power player's guide refers to the first floor as the "First Floor and Mezzanine", with the mezzanine having the two rooms above. Exact name

I'd say yeah, probably, but if I've learned one thing from editing here occasionally, it's that you guys don't seem to care about the opinions of people without accounts. The fact that IP's can't vote on proposals is stupid, and deserves a change in policy. None of the other wikis do it, and it's really incredibly biased. Blocking out other people's opinions for that kind of reason is just plain stupid. Sorry about my mini-rant, it's not really on topic. Yeah, it should be renamed.

Yes, I'm aware of the fact that this would technically be called "Princess Peach's Castle" since that's Peach's formal name; however, most sources I find in-game or otherwise (Paper Mario, the Mario & Luigi series, the New Super Mario Bros. manual, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Odyssey, to name a few) call it "Peach's Castle" without the "Princess" part appended to Peach's name. It isn't even appended to the castle's name in the New Super Mario Bros. Wii manual, despite lacking the possessive part of the name that most other mentions have ("Peach Castle"). All in all, I think there's enough overwhelming evidence that "Peach's Castle" is its most common and most recent name, and should be the name of this article.

Both "Peach's Castle" and "Princess Peach's Castle" were used in Partners in Time; the former in dialogue and save albums, and the latter on the top screen while going through a time hole. Furigana
