Talk:Nintendo New York

I redirected the page to Nintendo, since I thought that it was not directly related to Mario, but a user has reestablished the article. Rather than starting a never-eding edit war, let's discuss this here. It's true that the store sells Mario merchandise, but is this considered directly related to the wiki? --Shiancoe (talk)

Looks to me like we don't need the article. Other opinions? Time Questions 16:37, 22 February 2010 (EST)
I agree. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Yeah it should be deleted.Dry Bones in Paper MarioCount Bonsula I need blood...Ml2 drybones.png

No why should it be. This article is good as it is. No need for a merge. No need for a harsh redirect. No need for deletion especially. Afterall, this store is like the motherload for all things Nintendo, but more importantly, Mario. I see no reason for deletion. JackpotPersonolisedMiion3DS.JPGJordan 15:01, 27 August 2012 (EDT)

Move page from "Nintendo New York" to a conjectural name "Nintendo Store"

As the Nintendo Tokyo store just opened on November 22, 2019, it is better to have "Nintendo Store" as a conjectural page name. There's already information about the store in Israel, which is unrelated to the New York store. If approved, then this page should contain information for all three stores (New York, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and Tokyo). We could add info about a similar Nintendo section at EB Games Swanston Street in Melbourne, called "The Nintendo Experience", as the section have a similar layout to Nintendo New York (having a large Nintendo space, with demos and a museum for consoles). - Infinite8 04:08, November 25, 2019 (EST)

I think a more general title like "List of official Nintendo stores" would be better, with sections for the different stores around the world and separate articles if any are lengthy enough like the current Nintendo New York article (Nintendo Tokyo especially). The Nintendo Experience isn't a store, but that doesn't mean we can't make a page for that, too. Wolf Link costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 05:25, November 25, 2019 (EST)
Or alternatively have a table, like in the Bulbapedia's Pokémon Center page. The page should need additional images for each store's interior and more photos of Mario-related events in-store, but it would be necessary to have its own gallery page if there's a lot. On an unrelated note, there should be another page for the "Nintendo Check-In" as well, which are the Nintendo experiences at Kansai and Narita Airports. - Infinite8 08:23, November 25, 2019 (EST)
