An Ispiration?

XionGaTaosenai: Does anyone else think that the Mushrooms of Mushroom Gorge are inspired by parts of the Tall Tall Mountain Stage in Super Mario 64 / SM64DS?

I don't know. We'll never know for sure. Goombob Mini Goomba 15:38, 13 July 2013 (EDT)
I doubt it, as those mushrooms aren't bouncy like those ones, so don't put it on the article. It's probably Nintendo just decided it'd make a good mechanic, but as there is no proof for either they shouldn't be mentioned. Yoshi876 (talk)

I'm not a fan of SM64 as some of you are, but yes. It resemble Tall, Tall, Mountain a lot. Should i edit (now i'll wait for someone to answer, suggested by Archivist Toadette)? --Mkwii is better than Mk8DLX (talk) 10:26, September 25, 2020 (EDT)

I don't see the resemblance. If they wanted to reference Tall, Tall Mountain, they would have made it more obvious such as putting waterfalls, Ukikis, the blowing clouds, and probably even use the same color palette as the course. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 11:59, September 25, 2020 (EDT)

Map

Shouldn't we show the Wii map instead of the 3DS map? Baby Rosalina's head icon in Mario Kart 8Yoshilover76Yoshi SSB artwork.png(talk · edits · work) 12:54, 24 July 2014 (EDT)

I don't see the big difference, but since Coconut Mall, another returning Wii course for 3DS, has the Wii map, then we should display the Wii map. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:26, 24 July 2014 (EDT)
