StoryEdit

That story seems incomplete.HK

Yes, indeed it is. This page was nothing but a small overview and the characters when I started, so I figured that adding part of the story then and hopefully getting back to it later would be better than just leaving it alone. I am now trying to write the story as the game told it, since this is an article about the game, after all, not history of the Mushroom Kingdom. It still isn't complete, but that doesn't mean I won't keep working on it or that you can't help! I was away from the site for a while because of the pressures of life. --Stumpers

The next place (Toadwood Forset) is being done by me.  Palkia47

Great Screenshots!Edit

Hey, everyone. Those screens are great. Although the second and third look really similar, so is there another shot you guys can think of to replace one? It's really a non-issue, but we might be able to show off more of the game this way. Oh, and in case anyone thinks I'm being stupid/ungrateful, just remind yourselves that I probably am and could fix it myself if I cared that much! :D -Stumpers

Of course, the one on the bottom is an early screen-shot, as those Blooper enemies don't appear in the game (if I'm not mistaken). -- Son of Suns

All of the screenshots are pre-released. And yes the Bloopers didn't appear in the game. Shouldn't we replace the screenshots with newer screenshots?Paper Jorge 19:51, 6 September 2006 (EDT)

Yeah. New ones should be added, but we could have a couple screenshots from the development phase, as long as they are in a special section about the game's development. -- Son of Suns
Personally, I don't think that prerelease screenshots are a good idea. It's just that they're accurate. I'll try and find some screenshots from the actual game. Monty Mole (Talk·Contribs) 18:11, 4 October 2006 (EDT)

Will help soonEdit

Hello everyone, if you don't know me, I am the writer of this PiT FAQ: http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/mario_and_luigi_2_e.txt

It is pretty outdated (by a few months) but I will be fixing that and will start contributing to this site around December.--Charmander89

Great. We would appreciate the help. Monty Mole (Talk·Contribs) 18:03, 4 October 2006 (EDT)

Shrowser...Edit

Before it go in an edit war, Is Shroweser really optional? I suppose he's amndatory, but there may be a way of avoiding him. Gofer

He needs to be defeated for the game to end. When beating the shroob princess's final form or whatever, ti takes you to the castle, and not THE END OF THE GAME, Full Metal Moogle

PeachEdit

Princess Peach is in major characters or minor characters? Javier12345

Major.Knife (talk) 18:58, 9 August 2007 (EDT)

Minor would be someone like the two granies who run the Toad Town shop. Stumpers!
And why isn't she listed as major?(she is not even listed).Javier12345
Because I ignore any lists in an article. Seriously, what good is a list if it doesn't have a role attached? Stumpers!

She Is a Main Character She Should Be a Major. http://www.mariowiki.com/User:Mario_and_Luigi_Superstars_Inside_Time PS Sorry I'm New To the Site and Don't Know Much about the Site

Elder Princess ShroobEdit

The Elder Shroob plays a huge role in the game! Heck, she is THE COBLAT STAR!!!! I think she should be put in major!  Palkia47

The division into major and minor is fan-made, anyway. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:39, 25 March 2008 (EDT)
Fan-made?  Palkia47    So anybody can change it?
It is decided unofficially how to split them up into those categories. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:47, 25 March 2008 (EDT)
It isn't?  Palkia47    Hmmm... who like deciding?

SHE'S A BOSS SHE SHOULD BE MAJOR PS I DONT HAVE A PICTURE SO This was written by Mario and Luigi Superstars Inside Time

Shroob SejinEdit

Isn't the Shroob Sejin in this game, when Mario and Luigi get attacked in Holi Jolli Village?

 Neptune (Talk)

U-G-L-YEdit

The description is detailed but it needs some screenshots in between to brighten it up. Nobody (unless they are really dedicated) would want to read a block of text without any pictures.

Where is the other artwork?Edit

A couple of images representing artwork from this game are featured. but where are they in this article? I'll put the artwork under the heading of "Other Artwork". if anyone has got a problem with that feel free to change it.

 Yoshi Koshi Moshi

I don't really like the way the introduction is written... like when it says, "First unveiled at E3 2005 as Mario & Luigi 2, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, was a critical success from the start. Scoring highly on its reviews, the game was loved primarily for its creative, innovative gameplay carried over and revamped from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and for its great use of the "dual- screened" aspect of the Nintendo DS." It's the first sentence in particular... it sounds more like a review or something, because it tells the reader that the game is good, which is of course an opinion. Other game articles aren't written like that, because it's not really much like an encyclopedia. Should I change it?   CrystalYoshi   11:45, 18 January 2010 (EST)

Yep. Also, make a new header next time. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Cobalt ShardsEdit

If there are six Cobalt Shards, how come I only counted five of them in this description? (I actually started this game recently and at the moment I've gotten the first one. The ones mentioned here are:

1.) Bowser's Castle

2.) The forest

3.) Petey Piranha

4.) Star shrine

5.) Princess Shroob

Where is the other one? Which one is missing from this description? Ghostkaiba297 02:58, 12 March 2010 (EST)

I believe Princess Peach has the final piece. You'll get it at the end of the game. Fawfulfury65

Isn't the Cobalt Star completely pieced back together (releasing Elder Princess Shroob) once Princess Shroob is defeated? Ghostkaiba297 23:34, 12 March 2010 (EST)

Yes. I'm pretty sure all the info is in the article. Fawfulfury65

It is now. I put it there when I discovered that there are TWO Cobalt Shards in Star Shrine. The first is found in a room there, and the second is obtained by defeating Elder Shrooboid.Ghostkaiba297 00:05, 13 March 2010 (EST)

War of the Worlds?Edit

Couldn't help but notice... doesn't the whole storyline seem like War of the Worlds? You know... aliens leave their dying planet to take over a younger, weaker planet... they seem unstoppable until they're defeated by something harmless? Baby tears and bacteria? --D3bates 19:07, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Discuss this on the the forums. This talk page is for talking about improving the article. Fawfulfury65
Well, it could be added in the trivia. I mean, The Time Machine was also a story that seemed vaguely similar at parts and it's in the trivia.

PIT BestiaryEdit

I think there needs to be a full bestiary on enemies.71.28.38.255 18:46, 15 January 2015 (EST)

Is there one somewhere?

Problem with enemy articles (notice)Edit

I don't know how to change this for every enemy that it affects, but there's a notice below each enemy's stats saying the following:

"Stats in parentheses are from the Japanese version (if they differ from the original American and European stats)."

However, that's wrong because the American version came out first and the European version has the same stats as the Japanese version.

So it should probably say:

Stats in parentheses are from the European and Japanese versions (if they differ from the original American stats).

Thanks. Avengah (talk) 17:44, 13 March 2016 (EDT)

Hammer MoveEdit

The Hammer Move occasionally makes enemies dizzy when you hit them, which I think should be said as part of the move's description. I don't know what causes it to happen though, as I thought it was random but I've heard claims that it is timing. If anyone knows the answer you should add it, and if possible add what the odds are that it happens if it is random.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by SheepHair (talk).

It does seem to be random, some enemies might even be immune to this. I will add this in the article.   Nightwicked Bowser   11:47, February 10, 2021 (EST)

Fix the Template for this game.Edit

Can you please add "Spike Ball" to the template? I added the template for this game to the "Spike Ball" page. Can you please add "Spike Ball" to the template. Please. 73.144.173.107 11:12, June 9, 2023 (EDT)

I've added Spike Ball to the {{M&LPIT}} navigational template.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 01:12, June 10, 2023 (EDT)
