Prima mistake?Edit

According to Iwata Asks and the Cat Mario Show, "Maneki-Neko Mario" (what we have as Golden Statue Mario) is a special form of Cat Mario, basically made as a parallel to Tanooki Mario's now-hidden Statue Mario transformation; however, in Prima's website, the translated "Lucky Cat" Power-Up seems to vaguely refer to the collared cat form, the golden statue, or the Super Bell item. Since the interview puts it in more clear terms, and having both is inconsistent with the interview and how Tanooki Mario/Statue Mario is organized, would it be best to have this under one article and consider the collared cat an alternate form of Cat Mario like the scarved Tanooki Mario? Yeah, it's inconsistent that this Mario gets an individual article while the Statue Leaf Tanooki Mario doesn't. I think the Lucky Cat thing really refers to the statue form because the pose resembles, well, a Lucky Cat. If not a merge or a rewrite to focus on the statue, then the scarfed Tanooki Mario should get its own page.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:58, 28 June 2015 (EDT)
It's looking like an either/or situation, but creating another Tanooki Mario page just for Statue Mario would be confusing since Tanooki Mario itself wasn't consistent between its appearances, so moving Lucky Cat Mario / Maneki-Neko Mario to Golden Statue Mario's information seems to be the more compelling solution. If there aren't any objections... LinkTheLefty (talk) 00:00, 18 July 2015 (EDT)
I really don't see any problem in creating something like "Tanooki Mario (Statue Leaf)". That sounds pretty straightforward.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 01:20, 18 July 2015 (EDT)
Judging from the other proposal, multiple Tanooki Mario articles wouldn't have been well-received, and this logic could go back into the "Tanooki Mario (Tanooki Suit)" and "Tanooki Mario (Super Leaf)" distinction. Either way, some sort of reorganization is in order, so maybe a multiple-choice proposal would be the best way to settle this? LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:26, 3 August 2015 (EDT)

Never mind. OkSteak (talk) 13:07, April 9, 2021 (EDT)OkSteak

The image isn't showing up at all, not even in its file page.   Nightwicked Bowser   13:09, April 9, 2021 (EDT)
So what if it doesn't have transparency? It doesn't automatically need transparency, it just needs to be good enough to be used for the infobox.   (T|C) 13:11, April 9, 2021 (EDT)
