Add Super Mario Bros. early screenshots and scretches. This page is little and add more beta elements, early sprites, scretches and early screenshots to expand the page. --46.130.142.228 02:34, 27 January 2015 (EST)

If only there was an online Mario encyclopedia anybody could edit. --Glowsquid (talk) 07:35, 27 January 2015 (EST)

"The developers originally wanted Mario to be about twice the size of the sprite used in the game."

This is wrong. What they meant was they wanted "Super Mario" to be twice the size of "regular Mario" (meaning the small version). It also clearly says they stated with a 16x32 box as a place holder for the character (that's the size of the finished Mario) before they had even decided to use Mario in the game. The character was always supposed to be that size.

More unfinished/unused stuff

There also brown flag pole ball where Mario or Luigi can climb like a fence. there are some unused enemies and tiles. Mario or Luigi can hold springboards and shells, but removed in the final.--46.130.21.7 14:34, 10 May 2015 (EDT)

Brown ball that can be climbed like a beanstalk is on TCRF - mainspace (aka unused in the game). There are some unused firetypes (again, TCRF - unused content). There is evidence of removed tiles, but no unused ones (TCRF - unused content). I dunno where 46.130.21.7 read about Mario being able to hold things. --Hiccup (talk) 09:28, 11 May 2015 (EDT)
