Freeze glitch[edit]
Someone on YouTube claimed that in World 1-Castle, by pressing the switch while Bowser is not on-screen, the game will freeze. Is that true? Akfamilyhome 02:42, 9 March 2012 (EST) No. I tried it in the morning and what happens is that Bowser jumps to the end of the bridge, and you know the rest. Statue Forever Glitch[edit]

shadow glitch[edit]
If you ever noticed, if you go to world 1-1 and go into the pipe where you can get the second star medal, if you stand on the block which above it is the Star medal, you would see two shadows. One is on the block, and one is directly on the ground below the block. I think it is a glitch. --Marioluigiwario 17:53, 17 July 2012 (EDT)
Boomerang Glitch?[edit]
At the end of 7-Airship, I had defeated Boom Boom and Pom Pom and turned into Boomerang Mario. At the last ship with the Goal Pole, after the timer, I threw a boomerang from where the timer was. It went over the first set of mini stairs, and I jumped over it. On the second step/level from the bottom, I waited to see the boomerang break, but it was spinning against the wall of the lower section. When I jumped down, it returned to me. I did it one more time, and it appears to work for as long as you want, seeing as you don't move. I could only pull this off twice. I tried it on another airship, but I could not get it right. ESCAPE FROM POM Pom
in world 4-airship go fight pom pom with a p-wing , jump on her for a while then use the p-wing.
sometimes , you see the arena but mario isn't there

The bowser box glitch[edit]
To be honest, I've performed the bowser block glitch myself and that beanstalk sound you hear, just sounds mostly like mario crouching. May I suggest removing that small bit from the glitch description? It feels more like mario crouching...I'm just sayin.

The Infinite 1-ups "glitch" is not a glitch.

Some more glitches[edit]
There are some more interesting glitches to be added to this list:
As small Mario/Luigi, get wedged between the Cheep Cheep and ceiling, then tap to release the Mushroom followed by a ground pound on the Cheep Cheep to clip out of bounds.
As small Mario/Luigi, swim at around 45 degree angle (Up, Left) while holding down X/Y running on seafloor and pressing A/B one or two times to swim above and over onto land. Jumping while swimming on land will deactivate the glitch.
As tanooki Mario/Luigi, get wedged between moving platform and ceiling to clip out of bounds. On third hit, quickly tap right then jump repeatedly to clip out.
As Mario, die 10 times to get P Wing. Then on any stage that has a respawn point and warp box near each other, respawn and hit box to spwan P Wing, touch it to get it into inventory while going into warp box, then tap it to use P Wing while warping to activate the glitch. Unknown if can be done by Luigi.
Since I'm not an authorized user yet because this article is semi protected, I'll just post this here for someone else to add this, or until I get there. Also, I did the above 4 glitches, so I know how to do them. Charmario (talk) 18:19, 30 August 2018 (EDT)
