I found the Gameshark codes for the item modifier. The modifier is 83003D12 XXXX, and the specific values are:

1006 for the Triple Banana (does nothing when used), 1009 for the Golden Mushroom (disappears from inventory when used, however seems to function like a normal Golden Mushroom except it lasts forever), and 100D for the Fake Item Box! This one seems like a new find. Upon using it, it just drops a single banana. It even has its own icon. It's a bit pixelated, but it does seem to be a picture of an Item Box with its ? mark upside down. I have a picture of it on the talk page of this game on TCRF.net, but I can't upload it here since I'm still new.

This isn't for codes, it is for unused and early things.Fuzzy in New Super Mario Bros. UYoshiGo99Artwork of a Yoshi egg on a tilt. It is unknown whether this artwork was released with a certain game or not.

Understood, but I thought since the article references a GS code, it's possible it could contain the code. Also I wanted to mention the newly found unused Fake Item Box, but I'll let someone else who is better with editing to add it. --TweeterMan

An unused Fake Item Box? Sounds interesting. Is it in the game code as well? Can you link me the page where you show it? Not hotlink it, but just link the page where you show it and I'll add it for you BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)

I originally posted about it on The Cutting Room Floor. [1] I was originally looking for the Bomb icon that is posted on the article over there to see if that was a lost item, and playing around with variables allowed me to accidentally find the Fake Item Box. Like I said, when you use it, it just treats it like a single Banana. Looks like the only stuff drawn up for it is its inventory window icon, unless someone can dig deeper and find anything. I also posted a bit more info on the Golden Mushroom, how when you use it, it disappears from inventory but you now have infinite Mushrooms for the rest of the race. --TweeterMan

Good enough, thanks for the image! I'll upload it right away BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C)
