Early version of Disco trainEdit

While cleaning the page, I came across the following bit of information:

"Also, some of the music tracks went through changes up until the final version of the game. "Disco Train" that was used for the levels Target Terror and Rickety Race originally had a slightly slower BPM and did not have any accompaniment at the beginning, and was originally called "Roller Coaster"."

1: There's no source or even any context to tell where that information is from. Neither TCRF, Unseen64 or the DKC-Atlas forum thread mention anything about that.

2: "Roller Coaster" isn't an early name, it's used in the sound test.

So yeah, I had no idea where to place it and just deleted it. If anyone finds a source, that'd be appreciated. --Glowsquid (talk) 10:54, 17 August 2012 (EDT)

It's likely to have been false info.

Mr. X origins revealedEdit

I am a member at a Donkey Kong forums known as DK Vine, and, while browsing through some old topics there, I stumbled upon a topic about the Donkey Kong Country 2 beta character "Mr. X". In this topic, one of the users there posted that he contacted a former Rare employee in a facebook group about the beta character (scroll the page down a bit to see it), and they got a reply:

“Mr X would be an earlier version of the skeleton that chases you on the rollercoaster level. Can't remember him at all though.”
Former Rare employee, Facebook

Now, they wouldn't just come up with something like that, and, while I unfortunately couldn't find the name of this former employee, I think he is the same one who provided information about the "Redneck Kong" character in the cancelled game Diddy Kong Pilot. So, yeah, I am just explaining the situation here to avoid confusion. --- ThePremiumYoshi

If this is really true then why is Stronghold Showdown just an empty room? My theory was that Mr. X was a cut boss and you were gonna fight him in Stronghold Showdown. If what your saying and that man is saying is a fact then the only logical explanation to that area being empty was another theory I had. A third K. Rool Duel. Because IMO there is more wrong about those two fights then the glitched SFX that don't work right. -Harold C
