LinksEdit

This page needs links to the enemies/characters or it's worthless. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 15:42, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm on it! Not only that, I'll complete it as well! Just stand back and watch me work! - Smashgoom202 15:53, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

RarityEdit

How do we show how rare each card is? That's something that just came to me. - Smashgoom202 16:05, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

We could put a certain number of these * by them, like in the game. -- Sir Grodus

Yeah, that was what I was going to do, and I did all the ones that were already there, but some idiot was editting during my edit, so it didn't turn out right. - Smashgoom202 16:17, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
Sorry. That was me. But PLEASE don't call me an idiot!! TheGreatBlockyBoo 16:25, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
Okay, but my hand sort of acked after that. Eh, I'll get back it eventually... - Smashgoom202 16:27, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
You need any help, just ask me. I made this article. Also, in a way it's an apology for ruining your edit.  TheGreatBlockyBoo, Sorry...

You know that all you have to do is copy and paste what you already had, just look below when you get an edit conflict. Just happened to me typing this message.--Aipom_Banana_2.gif Aipom  --

I'll keep that in mind next time that happens. - Smashgoom202 16:35, 25 April 2007 (EDT)

TableEdit

I have finally put every single Catch Card into table format. Now, someone just add the pics, and we can call it a day. ~LordKenny

I'll do another 100 or on Friday. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 20:24, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
I'll start working on descriptions, I guess, but how do I make them fit? Phoenix Rider
Never mind. I got it. Expect some descriptions soon. Phoenix Rider

The imagesEdit

RAP... Don't worry about the images, I'll get them covered up there. Oh, tell Mrbenio to replace some of the images that he uploaded in the wiki, some of them didn't showed up properly in the article... BTW, what kind of license can I put on the images and Confused's Templates; it kinds doesn't make sense...

Wait. I don't get it... What are you asking? Phoenix Rider

Ignore RAP's comment. Catch Card Image #79 was misnamed Black Cursya, not Back Cursya. CC Image #186 was incorrectly linked: it forgot "Card" at the end: Image:186. King Croacus Card.JPG. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 22:15, 2 May 2007 (EDT)

Some pics don't work. Those would be (149) Dark Choppa, (207) Red & Green, and (212) Hornfels & Monzo. ~LordKenny

149 was skipped. 207 & 212 were corrupted, and I had to delete them. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 20:36, 3 May 2007 (EDT)

FoundEdit

Is it possible to list where you can find the Catch Cards?
I am Confused 21:54, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

The problem is, very few Catch Cards are found in the open, with the exception of Cards found from the Pit of 100 Trials, or King Sammer's Tournament. The vast majority must be purchased. Phoenix Rider

Erm...that would take a lot of confused...Great Gonzo
It's not an impossible task, though. You just need to figure out the best way to do it. If you can put that information on there without messing up the table, then go for it! ~LordKenny

The OrderEdit

Right now, the table is displayed as "Card #, Name, Discription, Rarity, and Image" What do you think of changing it to "Card #, Name, Image, Discription, Rarity"? I think it would look better if the enemy's pic was right next to its name, so the reader can easily tell whos who. ~Lord Kenny

King CroacusEdit

Is he supposed to have only one star?
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ghost (talk).

No, he isn't. He has two. I fixed it earlier. hisak

Ack, my bad. When you do 100 cards at a time, it happens. =P Thanks for fixin it, Hisak. ~Lord Kenny

YayEdit

The catch cards are finished... I'm so glad Mr. M   TCCragley ho!

Quality of the Catch Card ImagesEdit

Well, all of them are very bad quality, what should we do? Does anyone have some proffesional camera or something that can take pictures straight from their T.V? I've noticed this for a long time, and we need to fix this. Most of the other images on the wiki don't need to be replaced because of their quality, only approxiamately 200 and more. Any ideas people? Super-Yoshi Talk? C???

For starters, for the dark enemies, we can use an image editor to get the original good quality card enemy (eg. Spiked Goomba as to Dark Spiked Goomba) and make it completely black. I did that for Dark Spiny and Dark Boomboxer. SKmaric (talk)

Hang on. I just found out a way that works for all Catch Cards. For those who have Super Paper Mario and have quite a lot of the catch cards, use a DVD or HDD recorder to record a video showing all of the catch cards you have. (There's a YouTube video doing this, but like all YouTube videos all the videos are blurry and generally bad quality. SKmaric (talk)

Chapter 1-1Edit

This list says that the Koopa Troopa card can be found in Chapter 1-1, but I haven't found it, and I can't find any mentiong of it in any guides...

--Cyberweasel89 17:23, 29 January 2010 (EST)

What you have to do is while in Chapter 1-2, near the beginning (before you enter the first door), go 3-D as Mario and to the left side you should see a little entrance of which to go down. At the end, you will find the chest holding the Koopa Troopa Card. Then enter the door next to the chest and it will take you to that floating door. Yeah, I know it said 1-1 but it is suppose to be 1-2. Hope that helps! Baby

Mario Bloops

The Koopa Card is in Chapter 1-1, not in Chapter 1-2. In Chapter 1-2 you can find the Paratroopa Card. The Koopa Card can be found by Flipping to 3-D at the Star Block of Chapter 1-1 and walking to the left of the wall behind the Star Block.

Dark EnemiesEdit

A lot of these links should be reformatted. For example, if you click on the link labelled "Dark Koopa", it takes you to the page labelled, "Dark Koopa". This is the completely different Dark Koopa from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Instead, the link should lead to the page labelled, "Dark Koopa (Super Paper Mario)". This problem happens with a lot of the enemies, but I don't have the time to fix it! Luigi173 14:10, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Locations in Chapter 8Edit

Let's assume I'm playing the game, and have bought Flamm Maps 46-48. Exactly where do I use Fleep (While playing Chapter 8 for the first time in that file) to get the Nastisia (Chapter 8-1), Bleck (8-3), and Super Dimentio (8-4) cards? IGN's catch card database doesn't list them, and this list just says "Card Shop; Map 4#" --Xeno Cre8or 13:38, 9 May 2011 (EDT)

Sell PriceEdit

Does anybody else think it would be useful to list the sell price of each card on this page? --Foorganders (talk) 19:00, 3 July 2015 (EDT)

I know it has been a year since this was written and this was made by a user who only did 8 edits including this talk and the fact that this is out of the order. The thing is, I do think that the Sell Prices would be nice here. Especially since there is a Super Paper Mario bestiary now. If you are worried that it would take a while to get the information, I can assure you that I have the information readily available. I can easily put it up. I don't want to yet because I want to hear from other people first.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 11:40, 15 November 2016 (EST)
It has been a while since I wrote that and had no response. If I don't get one soon, I will decide on my own.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 13:51, 15 November 2016 (EST)
Try placing {{talk}} at the top of the section. And it's only been two hours: you've gotta be more patient than that.
  Shokora (talk · edits) 13:53, 15 November 2016 (EST)
I was referring to more than 50 changes (default setting for recent changes) since it was talked about.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 14:01, 15 November 2016 (EST)
I agree that the sell prices would be good to have here.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 17:25, 15 November 2016 (EST)
Thanks. This is all I need (another person agreeing with me). I will work on it right now.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:53, 15 November 2016 (EST)

OK, it is done. Have a look.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 18:47, 15 November 2016 (EST)

Looks good, but are you sure you got Mega Koopa and Dark Peach right? It says Mega Koopa is 100 coins and Dark Peach is 630, while the other Dark heroes are 350.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 18:55, 15 November 2016 (EST)
I got them from my game. The actual stats. There is no denying these stats. And Ultimate Mr. L, do you know that Mr. L's card is only worth 10 coins.

The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yoshi the Space Station Manager (talk).
OK, good. Just checking. As for that crack at Mr. L, try to avoid that in the future because it's probably mild Forum Talk.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 22:26, 15 November 2016 (EST)

BigMeowEdit

I have used tons of Catch Card SPs on BigMeow and it always fails. Can anyone confirm if you can actually catch a BigMeow? 1) They're invincible, and 2) You're supposed to use them as vital platforms. You might not be able to catch them and the list might need to be changed. Shadow2 (talk) 15:57, 11 September 2015 (EDT)

MoveEdit

The article is called List of Catch Cards in Super Paper Mario. That seems wrong. I mean the list of Super Mario 64 music is called List of Super Mario 64 media, not List of media in Super Mario 64. I think the article should be moved to List of Super Paper Mario Catch Cards or maybe just List of Catch Cards, since Catch Cards only appear in SPM. There's little doubt that the page should be moved, but the question is what should it be moved to?
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 18:38, 14 November 2016 (EST)

I say List of Catch Cards for now and move it to List of Super Paper Mario Catch Cards when there is another game with Catch Cards.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 19:25, 14 November 2016 (EST)
My thoughts exactly. Moving the page.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 20:47, 14 November 2016 (EST)
It won't let me move the page because a page by the name of List of Catch Cards already exists, in the form of a redirect. How do I deal with this problem?
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 22:54, 14 November 2016 (EST)
Usually, you should be able to move it over the redirect, and it'll ask if you really want to do that. ...Unless that's a sysop thing.    23:04, 14 November 2016 (EST)
That's not what happens for me.
  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk-Contribs-Stats) 23:14, 14 November 2016 (EST)
I'll see if I can move it, see what happens for me. EDIT: Nope, didn't work for me either. Ask an admin, see what they can do.    23:15, 14 November 2016 (EST)
Moving to a redirect's name won't work if someone made edits to it. You'll have to mark "List of Catch Cards" for deletion so you can make way for a move.   Mario JC 23:17, 14 November 2016 (EST)
