Where did it say these are Boos?--Swooper888 01:20, 6 December 2011 (EST)

Just looked at it, it seems more like one of the Roger relatives than anything else. Lord Grammaticus 03:31, 6 December 2011 (EST)
The Japanese name for it includes Teresa, which is the Japanese name for Boo. Zakor1138 19:51, 13 December 2011 (EST)
Ah, ok. Lord Grammaticus 20:51, 13 December 2011 (EST)

What's in a name?[edit]

Considering that this enemy doesn't look like a Boo, act like a Boo, or even has a common name with a Boo (it's entirely based on the Japanese name), can we really consider this a Boo? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Is there even proof the Japanese name is legitimate? Considering this looks more like a Caged Ghost sub-species, the name is a bit suspicious. Binarystep (talk) 16:35, 29 April 2015 (EDT)
The name was added by a former admin, so I'd like to believe that it's valid. At the same time, there's no source, and it'll probably be difficult to find it. I noticed that the name matches up with the one on the Japanese Wikipedia, which was added in alongside the name of everything else by an IP with no source. So, the name may be in doubt. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
I'm wary of names where the only source is Japanese Wikipedia, because even though it's supposedly less likely to have false info because you need an account to add content, it's still a wiki that anyone can edit. My theory on why people keep using it as a source is because it's Japanese and people assume it's somehow "closer" to Nintendo because of that (though it is true they're more likely to have official Japanese guides to pull names from). The Japanese Wikipedia may not actually be 2257's source; it could have easily used the same source that the former admin used. If nothing better is found, that will be assumed to be the name's source and actions will be taken from there. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

2257's still active on IRC. you could ask him there. --Glowsquid (talk) 17:34, 29 April 2015 (EDT)

Just got a reply from him. He said "probably wikipedia tbh". Considering Wikipedia doesn't have a source, I'll be making edits now. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
