Daisy and Wario[edit]

As much as I admire the work of Gunpei Yokoi, but where was it stated that he created Wario and Daisy (plus Pit)? He was the producer of both SML and SML2, but this doesn't mean he created Daisy and Wario, the Samus character was also not created by Yokoi, even if he produced the original Metroid. --Grandy02 10:31, 9 July 2009 (EDT)

Doesn't look like as this would be answered. So, should the statements regarding this issue removed then until there is actual proof? --Grandy02 14:51, 27 January 2010 (EST)

It should be removed. It's the same as people blaming everything in Brawl to Masahiro Sakurai only, because he's the producer. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 14:58, 27 January 2010 (EST)

He never actually did create Samus and Pit. In fact, he didn't even do a lot with Metroid and Kid Icarus, even when he was at Nintendo back then. People just don't even know what producer really means. Nor do they even know how any of this stuff works at all. BooDestroyer 18:17, 25 December 2011 (EST)

Name misspelled in Wario Land credits?[edit]

Is Gumpei really a misspelling so much as a different romanization? It's not like his name was actually the letters G-U-N-P-E-I, but some Japanese characters that have that as one of likely many ways to write in western letters. Anonymous Username (talk) 15:54, 1 December 2012 (EST)

Exactly. When an "n" like that comes before "b" and "p", it's pronounced as "m". BooDestroyer (talk) 20:42, 16 January 2013 (EST)
