Beta Image?Edit

Is that a pre-release screenshot? It looks like a Beta Delfino.

The only thing beta in that screenshot is how Mario's life points are displayed. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y 15:40, 14 February 2007 (EST)

The textures still look different... Are you SURE it isn't Beta Delfino?

This sure looks different from the final version. Where's the water? Cobold 16:03, 14 February 2007 (EST)

Seriously, Look at the corner of that building on the left. tell you the truth, we really should put this on the beta page. the picture, not the article. Because:

  1. No water
  2. Look at the green on "Beta" Corona mountain! (Is that there in the "Final" version?)
  3. LOW detail
  4. the roof is flat! (Literally)
  5. That texture is NEVER used in the final
  6. the most obvious, the health bar

Maxlover2 19:28, 14 February 2007 (EST)

Yes. Remove the image, but only place it in Beta Elements if you think the pic is notable enough. -- Son of Suns

It is. Read above. if you can't see any difference than reply. Maxlover2 19:46, 14 February 2007 (EST)

You can still remove the image. If you think it is notable, add it to the Beta Elements page. I have no opinion on the matter. -- Son of Suns

Can someone else? I can't move pictures. if you can, thanks Maxlover2 19:50, 14 February 2007 (EST)

Mario Party 7 AppearanceEdit

Though I'm not 100% sure, I believe I saw a mini-version of Delfino Plaza (easily identified by the large lighthouse, as well as the building style) in a mini-game in Mario Party 7. The mini-game's aim was to pop the most balloons in the allotted time, as you flew around a large area in a helicopter. It was 4-player, but I don't remember the name. x_x I could have sworn I saw Delfino Plaza there, however. Could someone verify that, and add it if I'm right? Thanks. :)
~   Luigi hc

Yeah, the stage you're talking is the Goomba's Booty Boardwalk. And yes, it is based on Isle Delfino. As for the mini-game, it copuld take place in any location. Lets just wait till the game comes out and don't jump to any conclusions.
I am Confused 21:23, 9 April 2007 (EDT)

He's actually talking about a minigame in Mario Party 7, not a board in Mario Party 8. YELLOWYOSHI398

YellowYoshi's right. It's a mini-game in 7, not a board in 8. I'll check to see if I can find the name...
EDIT:: I believe it's called "Helipopter", or something to that effect. Anyone remember this, or know if Delfino Plaza was in it? Thanks. :)
~   Luigi hc   EDIT::: After playing Mario Party 7 over the weekend, I found the name of the game again. ;) The name is "Helipopper" -- it's a Battle Minigame, not four player. Far to one side of the Helipopper game, is a large ocean, along the shore of which is the Delfino Plaza Lighthouse. There are a row of buildings (such as in the harbour, near the helicopter pad in Super Mario Sunshine-- ironic, eh?), but no Shine Gate, or anything of the sort. Should it be added in that the lighthouse is seen in this Battle Minigame?

Brawl StageEdit

Shouldn't the stage have its own article instead of being here?  XzelionETC

Yoshi's Island doesn't have a separate article either, so no.Knife (talk) 00:10, 3 August 2007 (EDT)

You Haven't Noticed?Edit

Has ANYONE noticed that one of the stages in Super Mario 64 DS is the music on Delfino Plaza? If you don't, you've got to be kidding me. Seriously. SmartOne

MusicEdit

I've noticed that the music from Gelato Beach, Ricco Harbour and Bianco Hills is the Delfino Plaza music remixed. Should this be in only the Delfino Plaza article and have the information about those three stages remixing each other's music be removed? Lemmy Koopa Fan (talk)

Mountain EnteranceEdit

It it worth mentioning in trivia that on the brawl stage the gate to Corona Monntain is open. Doesn't it say that it's closed for public safety or something? Just though about it now.--TimTamChimchar 12:03, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Is there a glitch in my game?Edit

I have played over 50 hours of Brawls and i still can't unlock the Super mario 64 main theme! Is my game glitched!  GalacticPetey

You'd be better off asking in the forums.--Knife (talk) 12:50, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

I am trying to join the fourms but it keeps saying that the letters I type dont match what is in the box. They do match!  GalacticPetey

I joined the forum, I will ask it soon.  GalacticPetey

Blue Coin chartEdit

I was the one who posted the Blue coin chart but I don't know where coin 14 is because it's not the same as coin 11. So can somebody help me and fill it in? Mich5643 20:58, 15 April 2012 (EDT)

Try using this guide to find the coin you're looking for: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/533287-super-mario-sunshine/faqs/19156

I haven't completed the game, so I'm not sure exactly what coin you're talking about.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:00, 15 April 2012 (EDT)

I believe you meant this one: "Blue Coin #14 From where you find Blue Coin #13, go back through the two big areas down there and (head) south, at the intersection, turn east then north then west. Take a first path heading north (not the one at the end) and continue down to the very back end of this path, another blue coin is hidden in the dead end."

  It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:02, 15 April 2012 (EDT)

All i know is it MIGHT be in the sewers so do you know how many coins there are in the sewers? Mich5643 20:07, 16 April 2012 (EDT)

No, but you should check the guide in the link I gave you to see exactly where it is, just to be sure.   It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 20:10, 16 April 2012 (EDT)

2 B HonestEdit

Shouldn't there be a List of the 40 Shine Sprite locationz in teh plaza?   BoygeyPumpkineer

Featured?Edit

Delfino Plaza feels like an article that should've been featured by this point (unless it was featured but then unfeatured, which would make sense). Anyone here who can think of some specific things about the article that could be fixed to make it more feature-worthy??  TheDisneyGamer 11:54, 22 April 2017 (EDT)

If you want the article to be featured, you're going to have to fix the section-stub part of it, otherwise it'll never be featured. Yoshi876 (talk)

You can see through the boats.Edit

While you are in the sewers you can see the shape of the area you are and Mario, both as shadows. If a boat passes between Mario and the camera, you can still see those things. For example you can see that within a corner in the coin section of the sewer that connects the Plaza and the little island with the basket.
