Didn't Coin Heavens make a brief appearance in Mario Teaches Typing? Akfamilyhome 06:25, 16 March 2012 (EDT)

Official Name?

Is the name of this kind of hidden area in various levels across the Super Mario (series) the official name? Something is telling me this article should be tagged with {{conjecture}}, unless someone can produce a reliable source. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 14:09, 19 July 2016 (EDT)

Actually yeah, the name is in fact hidden. I will tag it with conjecture right now. Sprite of Black Ninjakoopa, from Paper Mario. Sprite of Red Ninjakoopa, from Paper Mario. The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) 02:19, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
They could be derived from music file names but yeah, I don't remember any game coining these areas specifically as coin heavens. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 02:24, 28 August 2016 (EDT)

Coin Rooms and Naming

And seen in here, the term "Coin Room" applies to the underground, single-room coin areas. I thought that info could potentially be covered in one Bonus Stage article that covers both the sky and underground versions; however, apparently, Bonus Stage specifically refers to the sky version. Technically, Bonus Stage seems to be the most recent (or at least, in-game) name. Would it be confusing if Coin Heaven was renamed to Bonus Stage (moving the current page to a disambig) while having a separate article on general Coin Rooms? Wow, I’m surprised this hasn’t been solved yet! Either way, I think this should stay as, like, a Variant of bonus rooms named coin heaven and have someone create a page for normal bonus rooms (I.e., the underground ones in SMB and the gold ones in Bowser’s Fury.)
