It's a stub with the same idea repeated in four different sections and there's not much to add after that. Also, given that its title is conjectural, the existence of Bill Blasters that shoot Bull's-Eye Bills could be easily noted on the Bill Blaster page.

SupportEdit

  1. Super Radio (talk) per proposal
  2. YoshiFlutterJump (talk) Per proposal.
  3. VOIDTHIS (talk) Per proposal.
  4. WeirdDave13 (talk) Per proposal.
  5. Toadette the Achiever (talk) Yeah, they only REALLY look different from regular Bill Blasters in Super Mario Maker, and even then they can just be covered in the Bill Blaster article. In some cases, like with Roy's cannon in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U, both Bullet Bills and Bull's-Eye Bills can be fired from the same blaster.

CommentsEdit

Could maybe check this myself, but a bit busy. Does Super Mario Maker say a name when they are placed?    13:36, 14 July 2018 (EDT)

It's still called Bill Blaster, although since several enemies (like Stretch, Jelectro, Blurp and Deep Cheep) don't change names in Super Mario Maker, it doesn't necessarily mean anything. If it stays, the article could just be named "Bill Blaster (Bull's-Eye Bill)" or "Bill Blaster (red)" so it's no longer conjectural. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:54, 14 July 2018 (EDT)
I would agree with the page being moved to “Bill Blaster (Bull's-Eye Bill)” if it isn’t deleted (since not all Bull's-Eye Bill Blasters are colored red). Also, in my game, some enemy names such as Jelectro and Sea Urchin do in fact change their names. -- TheFlameChomp (talk) 13:59, 14 July 2018 (EDT)

Anyways, the focus of the article seems to be a bit iffy. The specified "Bull's-Eye Bill Blasters" exist in SMA3 and SMM, not sure about TT, but the ones in SMB3 are ordinary Bill Blasters in appearance, and as such, are not distinguished whatsoever in anything but what spawns from them. This makes sense, since in Japan at the time, Bullet Bills are Missile/Bull's-Eye Bills were "Killer," just with a color differentiation based off of behavior, akin to the already-established red and green Koopa Troopas. NameEdit

Super Mario Maker 2 gives Bull's-Eye Bill Blasters a new name: Bull's-Eye Blaster. Should we recreate the article, given the new name? TheDarkStar   13:02, July 6, 2019 (EDT)

A counterproposal is required, as i think a lot of work has been put into it. Recreating from scratch would seem like a bad idea, as it'll override its previous history, and its previous history will be lost forever. Let's first make a proposal to undelete it, and then, rename it. --  FanOfYoshi 09:12, July 7, 2019 (EDT)
Also, it would need improvement after undeletion. --  FanOfYoshi 11:45, July 8, 2019 (EDT)
If it looks like no arguments show up after a while, a counterproposal'd be needed. --  FanOfYoshi 14:02, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Or that'd be rushing proposals? --  FanOfYoshi 14:35, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
I'd say let's go ahead. It seems pretty clear-cut what to do here, though as mentioned in the above comments, the Super Mario Bros. 3 launcher doesn't seem to be the same thing. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:48, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
You mean go ahead to make a proposal? --  FanOfYoshi 14:53, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Yes. LinkTheLefty (talk) 14:55, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Does it even need a proposal in this case? I don't think we should need a proposal to override a proposal when what in-house Nintendo is already saying overrides it by default. This seems like making a new proposal to change the artwork after a "which artwork for infobox" proposal from 8 months ago after we are given better artwork from a new game that came out in the interim. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 14:58, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Probably, since the main reason for the proposal was because the original article was rather stubby and could be easily merged with the Bill Blaster article (though I'd support bringing it back). LinkTheLefty (talk) 15:02, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
A proposal is required to overturn the decision of a passed or failed proposal. --  FanOfYoshi 15:18, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
I hink there should be some admin input here, since again this is a special case, since we now have an actual name. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:29, July 9, 2019 (EDT)

The original article had a conjectural name and similarities to the standard Bill Blaster. Now that an official name is used, and it does act differently than a standard Bill Blaster in the Super Mario Maker games, the article now falls within coverage for an article of its own and the original proposal can be superseded. A proposal to delete an article as it was then doesn't need another proposal to recreate it if new information comes to light, just a regular discussion with an admin input will do so there is some record as to why the proposal was went back on.    18:35, July 9, 2019 (EDT)

Additionally, should it just cover the Super Mario Maker stuff? Other games just have a regular Bill Blaster fire Bull's-Eye Bills.    18:45, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
SMA3 had red ones. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:53, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Same for CTTT. TheDarkStar   19:55, July 9, 2019 (EDT)
Sure. But aside from firing a different type of Bullet Bill, they don't do anything different. Regardless, page is restored.    01:35, July 10, 2019 (EDT)
