Boomer Bill?[edit]

Recently there was a Lego Mario set that is called "Boomer Bill Barrage". The bills in the set look exactly like a Banzai Bill so I was wondering if it should be added here. Evantures (talk) 18:58, June 19, 2020 (EDT)

"Boomer Bill" should just be a redirect to "Banzai Bill". Problem solved. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 19:04, June 19, 2020 (EDT)
I would like to see this set, I'm curious if "Boomer Bill" isn't being used as a name at all, but rather a description as to how the "Bills" in it work. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 19:53, June 19, 2020 (EDT)
Here's an image of the set. It's definitely being used as a name though, if you look at the top of the box you can see Banzai Bill being called Boomer Bill. They seem like standard Banzai Bills. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 13:22, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
The other languages give them nonstandard names as well, so I'm thinking they might actually be intended as some unique thing. Guess a Japanese equivalent if there is one would be the only way to be sure. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 13:36, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
I'd be very surprised if it was supposed to be something different, they look identical to Banzai Bills and all of the other characters and enemies are straight from the games. The closest thing to a "unique" characteristic they have is that they spin in circles instead of flying in straight lines, which is obviously just for gameplay purposes. I'm thinking this was just a goof-up on Lego's end (or maybe not wanting to use the word "Banzai" for some reason). --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Thruster's totally different from normal current depictions too, though... Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:07, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
If you're referring to the white piece, that seems like it's just meant to represent the trail of smoke they leave behind. Either way I wouldn't take the designs too literally though, almost everything in the sets is a little bit off-model. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! Oddly enough, the tags on that simply say Bullet Bill, even though that already has one...hm. I was also referring to the red backside in general. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 15:31, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
That's just a fan-run site, so the tags don't mean much (though they also have the Paragoomba tagged as just "Goomba" and Peepa as "Boo", so it's probably more of a "species and its variants" thing anyway). I'd assume the red piece is supposed to represent whatever you call that "inner area" the back of Bullet Bills normally have, just without the rim. Unfortunately we don't seem to have any pictures showing what the back of a Banzai Bill normally looks like so I can't compare them. --Waluigi's head icon in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Too Bad! The back seems to be red with a wite white smoke coming out of it, judging by the box. Might be a rename, or a misnaming. --Green Yoshi FanOfYoshi 16:05, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
