Undead Goomba: to be more precise, the name should be used if the enemy was undead.

Skull Goomba: This name is more correct than the first one—if you look at the artwork, you see nothing but an underground Goomba with a skull on its head.

Mario4Ever (talk) While I think that it would be best to wait for the Prima guide or another official source to provide a name, in the meantime, we may as well provide the article with a name that more accurately describes it (from what I can gather, the "undead" distinction describes enemies that look similar to Dry Bones, such as the Undead Piranha Plant, which this enemy does not).

I am still going with the move but I think we should still have a temporary name until the official name is out. Undead Goomba makes it seem more like a dead Goomba like Dry Bones but it's not, and the name Skull Goomba gives it more of what it is like. YoshiGo99 (talk)

If the upcoming Prima guide does not give an official name, but an official name is to be found in a later appearance, then {{part conjecture}} should be used. As for now, we should decide on the conjectural title via the proposal.

Undead?

NSMB2 teal Goombas

While they are identical to a Bone Goomba with the helmet removed and appear in the same type of locations, should we really be considering the teal Goombas that never wear skulls in NSMB2 as Bone Goombas, rather than simply normal Goombas with a different color?
