Black hole in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

I was the one who originally added the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate section of this article, but it just feels weird to have it in the same article as the obstacle in Super Mario Galaxy. Should this article be split into Black hole (Item) and Black hole (Obstacle)? 24.6.217.5 10:38, 23 June 2018 (PDT)

Depends on what franchise the item is specified to come from. If the Mario franchise logo is assigned to it, like the Hammer or the Blue Shell, then I think it shouldn't be split since it's clear that the item has its origins in Super Mario Galaxy. -- -- KOOPA CON CARNE 13:53, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
Yeah, currently the item's origins are unknown. It could come from Super Mario Galaxy, Kid Icarus: Uprising, or be a Smash original. Best to wait on this one. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 13:56, 23 June 2018 (EDT)

Where to place the black hole wikipedia link.[edit]

This might turn into an edit war, so let's just settle this here I guess. I feel it should go in the about section where all the other links are. --MikhailMCraft (talk) 11:03, October 2, 2019 (EDT)

Far as I understand, that template typically only uses links to other articles within the wiki, and while there isn't exactly a "true way", I really doubt much harm comes from it being placed in the introductory line. --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 11:31, October 2, 2019 (EDT)
I agree, but I feel that the introductory blurb is for introducing the actual entity in the Mario series and not the actual black hole. I'm fine either way but in my opinion it doesn't fit down there. --MikhailMCraft (talk) 11:33, October 2, 2019 (EDT)
There's several articles containing a Wikipedia link to a real-world object or a phrase that the subject in question is based off of or referencing. Far as I see it, this is just more of the same. --ExdeathIcon.png Lord G. matters. ExdeathIcon.png 11:44, October 2, 2019 (EDT)
Yeah, I guess I just meant that I don't feel it should be placed in the introductory blurb. I guess that's where it'll go for now. --MikhailMCraft (talk) 11:46, October 2, 2019 (EDT)
