How come some of these enemies have official names while others have conjectural? Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Where is it said that "Bird" is official? There is a "pure conjecture" template. --Grandy02 13:38, 31 December 2009 (EST)
No, I mean that one enemy from the same series has an official name (Pinwheel) while this one doesn't. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Because the "Birds", like many other enemies, were not mentioned in any of the Wario Land manuals, which are the only source of many English enemy names in Wario Land prior to Shake It!. The classic Wario Land games themselves never had much text and only gave a few enemy names (for Wario Land 3, we additionally have Dr. Mario 64 and the old American website in the Internet Archive, and some more Wario Land II names were revealed by a response from NoA). But they most likely have an official name in Japanese (there have been several official guides), but I have yet to research them as I have done for Wario Land 4 (the article uses the Japanese names for most enemies because of that). --Grandy02 13:50, 31 December 2009 (EST)
And Pinwheel is one of the few that got a name? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Yeah, all the enemies you can see here were named in the English manual. --Grandy02 14:04, 31 December 2009 (EST)
