Non-SMG2 AppearancesEdit

Why is there information on games where he isn't named? If he isn't named, how do we know it's not just a random green Toad? Phoenix Rider 22:49, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

There is no proof its the same toad we just assume that.-- Its-a-meYoshi!

See Talk:Toad Brigade - this debate is currently going on again. I think it may have to be settled the same way as Birdo's gender. Marioguy1 (talk)
And what do you propose? According to that page there isn't proof for either side. Phoenix Rider
I'm not making a proposal yet, I don't even know all the facts. Someone much more educated in this will have to do it. Marioguy1 (talk)

I read somewhere that in SMG he is called Mining Toad. I know his name in SMG2 is Banktoad, but should we change the SMG bit to include that?I think I read it in another Mario encyclopedia.-Smileymiley5001

How do we know the green Toad in SMO is him? In the Lost Kingdom, there's an additional blue Toad, who can't be the same as Hint Toad due to him being otherwise present and the additional one lacking glasses, not to mention the fact that there seems to be three Yellow and Purple Toads to man the shops in the Lost, Mushroom, and Moon Kingdoms. As such, I don't think we can say that any other than Captain Toad, Hint Toad, and Toadette in that game are intended to be the same. The best case one could make is that rigging the pipe in Bowser's Kingdom might have required digging. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:11, 24 May 2018 (EDT)

If the toads couldn't switch kingdoms at the same time as Mario, then how would Captain Toad be in (almost) every kingdom? 173.28.188.39 16:09, October 9, 2022 (EDT)
