Question

Is there a penalty for using these Assist Blocks? I'm not planing on using them,I would just like to know, the in-game manual doesn't say anything.

1. No, except that if you are White Tanooki Mario, it wears off into normal Tanooki Mario at the end of the level. By the way, Assist Blocks stop appearing in Special Worlds.--Thejfh1999 18:20, 21 November 2011 (EST)

Well, no but there is something you gain from not using these assist blocks; If you never lose five or more times in a level and beat every level, you can gain glittering stars (which I'm guessing are the stars you see when you choose which file you want.) but that is all.
