Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online
Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online (known as Super Famicom - Nintendo Switch Online in Japanese) is an application for the Nintendo Switch system. It features a library of Super Nintendo Entertainment System games, with some supporting online multiplayer. It was announced during a Nintendo Direct on September 4, 2019 and will be released in North America on September 5, 2019 and in Japan, Europe and Australia on September 6.
The application is exclusive to active subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online; users can access these games as long as they have an active subscription, and must contact online at least once a week to continue to access them offline.
