Template:Kart-infobox The Super Blooper (known as the Turbo Blooper in Europe and Oceania) is a medium-sized kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. It resembles a Blooper with its tentacles sticking out from its sides. Two more tentacles serve as the exhaust pipes. The emblem is located on the sides of the kart. The side tentacles move when the vehicle boosts and the wings twist upward when the vehicle brakes, as if swimming.

History

Mario Kart Wii

The kart's bike counterpart is the Dolphin Dasher; however, the kart is actually lighter than its bike counterpart, while being slightly faster. It can be unlocked by winning the 50cc Leaf Cup, or by playing 300 races.

The Super Blooper features good speed and great off-road, but very weak drifting (tied with the Wario Bike). Its other stats are average. It is also notable for being the lightest medium kart in the game, and has the best off-road stat of all the medium karts. Its weight is tied with the Sneakster. Its acceleration (tied with the Blue Falcon) is slightly below average.

Mario Kart Tour

The Super Blooper returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it is classified as a Super kart. It uses the Pipe Frame's tires. Unlike its Mario Kart Wii appearance, it only has Mario and Diddy Kong's stripe coloration no matter which driver is using it. The side tentacles and wings also no longer move. The game also introduces a golden variant, simply named the Gold Blooper, which is also classified as a Super Kart.

Trivia

  • The Super Blooper is the only kart, when paired up with the Dolphin Dasher, in the game to be lighter than its bike counterpart.
  • Bowser Jr. and Male Mii are the only characters to have a different color than white. Bowser Jr.'s Super Blooper is orange, while Male Mii's Super Blooper is light gray.
    • This is Bowser's Jr.'s only vehicle not to use his signature light yellow color like other vehicles; however, the color orange is Daisy's signature color.
  • If Daisy rides the Super Blooper, it can pass the Honeycoupe's default speed by one point.
