Template:Minigame-infobox Stop Thief! is a downloadable microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It was released on July 22, 2009 in Japan, June 21, 2010 in North America, and July 23, 2010 in Europe.

Gameplay

There is a room with many pillars, some in the foreground and some in the background. The only other thing in this room is a shiny treasure chest. After a few seconds, a thief will bounce in from the right, or fall from the ceiling, grab the treasure chest and run away. The player must tap him, so he drops the treasure chest and the player wins the game. The pillars in the foreground can get in the player's way, as the thief will go behind them, where the player cannot tap him. If the thief successfully escapes, the player will lose the microgame.

Trivia

  • The game released alongside this, Stop Them!, has a very similar name.
  • The sprite used for the chest resembles the one used in Super Mario Bros. 3.
