Sting Tentacle

Sting Tentacles are underwater obstacles in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Found in the stage Current Capers, they are long, spiky appendages that protrude from plant- or echinoderm-like structures on walls and the seafloor. They slowly sway from side to side, and are found in select areas of the stage in large numbers. The Kongs lose a heart from their health meter if they simply touch a Sting Tentacle, but can destroy one using Cranky Kong's cane or a Kong POW. Obtaining the stage's K and N Letters require the Kongs to navigate around Sting Tentacles.
