Template:Levelbox Stage 6-6 is the sixth stage in the Airplane in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy.

This stage takes place outside of the airplane, in the clouds which means strong wind is there that blows to the right which can help or hinder the player.

Layout

Mario starts at the far left of the stage room, next to a ladder, on the lowest layer of clouds. This layer extends to the right side of the stage. Somewhere not far from Mario stays the exit door.

The mentioned ladder leads to the middle layer of clouds, which is the most inconsistent. Starting with a thin and short cloudy platform, to which the ladder leads to, it continues to the right with several blocks of cloud, placed far from each other. Next, two linked clouds moving on a rail lead to another thin cloudy platform, which serves as intermediary between the middle and the uppermost layer. A ladder protrudes from the bottom of the platform, and heads towards the lowest layer; however, it is not connected to it. During the portion of the stage described recently, the player must time Mario's jumps very well, as there is wind that blows and some platforms are moving.

For the final layer of the level, there are some pillars with wires bound to them, of which Mario can make use from by clinging to them and rotating around the wires to produce enough force in order to be sent high in the air. A single wire is inclined, and beyond it - from right to left - the "ground" is formed by thorns. At the end, on some cloud blocks, the key is resting. Mario must grab the key then use the wind to jump across the spikes, then he must make his way down and back to where the door is, then he must go to the door to end the level.

Pauline's lost items

Within this stage, Pauline's lost items can be found in the following order and in the following places:

  • Bag: Above the first ladder of the stage.
  • Hat: Above the second cloud block on the middle layer, with the point of reference being in the left side of the stage.
  • Parasol: Above the first set of spikes, if seen from right.
