A Spiky Gloomba (also known as a Spiked Gloomba) is a Gloomba with a spike on its head. Because it has a spike on its head, Mario will get hurt if he jumps on it, unless he has the Spike Shield. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they appear in the Pit of 100 Trials in the Rogueport Sewers. They are much tougher than a regular Spiked Goomba. This species, along with the Hyper Spiky Goomba, are the strongest Goomba species in this game.
