Sonic's Figure Skating Spectacular is a Dream Event that appears in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The objective of the event is to score the most points form performing a figure skating routine, with the event taking place in the Dream Skating Center.

In this event, the player starts automatically and must perform various moves using the Wii Remote when prompted onscreen. To perform steps, the player must swing the Wii Remote in the direction indicated onscreen, with better timed swings scoring them more points. The player performs spirals by tilting the Wii Remote to maintain their character's balance as they skate along the pink line on the rink, with more points being awarded for remaining better balanced. To perform waves, the player must hold their Wii Remote out to the side and move it up and down to control their character's arms onscreen and collect the musical notes to earn more points. The player performs jump by swinging the Wii Remote upwards when their character reaches the red icon onscreen, and swinging it in a circular once airborne to perform turns. Points are awarded for well timed jumps and the number of turns performed while in the air. Spins are performed by swinging the Wii Remote around in a circular motion, with higher scores given for more spins. To finish the routine, the player performs a pose by matching the one shown onscreen at the end of the countdown with their Wii Remote, with more points being given for better matching the timing. The character with the most points at the end of the event wins.

The routine is themed around Sonic Colors, with skaters starting on Planet Wisp, where Yacker asks the skaters to follow him. The skaters free the captured Purple, Blue and Yellow Wisps, and then jump to a higher platform to free the Green Wisp before using Springs to go to Starlight Carnival. Here, the skaters collect Rings and free the Orange, Cyan and Pink Wisps. The skaters are then attacked by Rotatatron in Tropical Resort, and begin to fight Rotatatron, before being helped by the Wisps to perform a move to defeat it. Once Rotatatron is defeated, the skaters celebrate with a large crowd of White Wisps. The routine's music includes parts of Planet Wisp Act 1, Starlight Carnival Act 2, Rotatatron's Boss Theme, Final Boss Phase 2 and Tropical Resort Act 1.
