Sole Man is a microgame in the Strange folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. A remake of the microgame appears in Game & Wario, where it is featured as part of the minigame Gamer. The name of the microgame comes from the hit song "Soul Man", which was written by Isaac Hayes and David Porter for Sam & Dave.

GameplayEdit

A Fronk is on a beach, with several more of his species in the background. There is a large shadow that follows him around, followed by a foot falling from above. The player will have to use the   to move the Fronk out of the way before he gets stepped on. The foot will drop two times before the microgame ends. As the difficulty level increases, the size of the foot also increases.

  • 1st level difficulty: The shoe is a person's sneaker, covering about 25% of the screen.
  • 2nd level difficulty: The shoe is a hiker's boot, covering about 30% of the screen.
  • 3rd level difficulty: The shoe is a fat person's sandal, covering about 35% of the screen.

Game & WarioEdit

  • 1st level difficulty: A Fronk must avoid being squished by a person's foot. The setting is a dirt road.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Wario-Man must avoid being squished by a dinosaur's foot. The background is a city on fire.
  • 3rd level difficulty: A person in a Goomba suit must try to be stomped by Mario's foot. The setting is based on Super Mario Bros.

Sole Man appears in the WarioWare, Inc. stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where the players have to dodge the stomping foot, just like in the original microgame. Being stepped on has the same effect of a Pitfall, with the player becoming partially buried and unable to move for a moment.
